Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell recently made it to the headlines, after he threw a punch at Dave Navarro and was eventually forced offstage. The footage of the altercation was captured by several fans which had then surfaced on internet. The chaos finally led to a sudden end to the concert in Boston on Friday, September 13, 2024.
According to social media reports by JamBase, the trouble between Farrell and Navarro began while the band was performing the ninth song of the night Mountain Song. It even continued while they sang Three Days and finally, the chaos began when they had to perform Ocean Size.

Perry Farrell was reportedly intoxicated and mumbling lyrics all throughout the concert in Boston
Amid recent drama, Blabbermouth reported that Perry Farrell, allegedly drunk or high, threw punches at Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro during a show. Videos showed Farrell swearing and getting in Navarro's face. Navarro appeared confused and eventually stopped playing, trying to create distance from Farrell. Concertgoers then saw Farrell punch Navarro before being restrained by bassist Eric Avery and other crew members. Afterward, the band, including drummer Stephen Perkins, hugged each other at the front of the stage.
Blabbermouth reported that Perry Farrell wasn't doing well this entire week. He was in a bad shape during the band's show at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City on September 10. While he managed to make it through the event, he said:
"Ladies and gentlemen, I have to be honest with you. Something's wrong with my voice. I just can't get the notes out all of a sudden."
A day later, on September 11, Eric Avery shared a video on Instagram with a caption that read:
"Looking forward to getting another crack at this spectacular rooftop venue tonight. I'm optimistic we will be better."
It has just been a little more than four months since Dave Navarro rejoined the group after being down with COVID-19 for quite a long time. As of now, no band members have commented on the Boston concert incident.
They are also scheduled to perform another show in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Sunday.
