Netizens have reacted to Megan Thee Stallion not winning a single award on the night of the 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards despite being the most nominated female rapper. The Houston rapper racked up 12 nominations, followed closely by the night's biggest winner, Kendrick Lamar, who won 8 awards with 11 nominations.

Megan Thee Stallion was nominated for Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, and Hustler of the Year. Meanwhile, her works Boa, Mamushi, Hiss, Wanna Be, Bongos, and her 2024 album Megan were all nominated for various categories at the 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Fans were quick to jump on to X to express their opinion on the alleged snubbing of the Houston rapper. While many slammed the award show, some were satiated by the result and claimed that the result was well deserved. Some popular comments in X are as follows:

"They did her so dirty !!" wrote a fan on X.
"She's amazing," opined another.
"Got robbed," tweeted one fan on X.

However, a big chunk of users claimed that the result was fair.

"She hasn’t been that good. Putting too much energy on things that don’t help rather than music," tweeted another.
"They just tryna make her look good on paper atp," opined a user.
"The crazy thing is you think she deserved it," wrote another.

A fan referred to Nicki Minaj winning Album of the Year for Pink Friday 2, opining that Megan already has three Grammys and Nicki deserved a chance.

"Megan has 3 Grammys, Nicki none so sit this one out," commented the netizen.
"Because Roc Nation is saving up for the Grammys, and recouping from the award show they just had her hosting that they bought awards for," theorized a fan.
"Mind you Kendrick won most of the categories she was in," inferred another.
