Over the last weekend, hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was spotted hanging out with DJ, record producer, and TV personality Stevie J at the South Beach in Miami, Florida. The images and videos from Diddy’s recent and rare public appearance have garnered severe online traction.
Wearing black and white shorts and a polo T-shirt, with a bandana on his head and a pair of sunglasses, Combs was seen taking a stroll on a crowded beach with Stevie J, who, dressed in white beachwear, stopped to interact with fans. Another footage showed the duo posing for photos with fans and exchanging words and hand pounds with fellow beachgoers.
In the wake of these now-viral clips, the internet is having diverse reactions, especially to people approaching Diddy during his outing. For instance, Instagram user @blue commented on The Shade Room’s repost of the videos by calling out the fans.
Several others shared similar thoughts on other platforms, slamming/trolling people who interacted with him.
“How interesting… people talked s**t on the internet about Diddy but they’re very friendly in person,” a person wrote.
“It’s one thing to see Diddy & take a picture of him but to ask to get a picture WITH him is crazy,” one person wrote.
“Wow!!!! And people took pictures… jail?? Anyone??” another person wrote.
Others mocked people for conversing and clicking pictures with Sean Combs.
“I wouldn't even bat an eye if I saw him. He is sc*m,” a user wrote.
“I hate people why you taking pictures with this subhuman,” another user wrote.
“Wow taking photos with a guy who commits s*x crimes and blackmail, with witnesses and evidence to support it, is crazy even crazier that he walks free,” an individual wrote.
“Why would anyone want a picture with that guy?” another individual asked.
Stevie J has previously been mentioned in Diddy’s ongoing lawsuit
In February 2024, record producer, videographer, and former Diddy associate Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a $30 million federal lawsuit against the hip-hop magnate, accusing him of sexual harassment and assaults, drug and sex trafficking, grooming, and more.
One of Diddy’s co-defendants was Stevie J, who was accused of “recruiting” underage girls and prostitutes to attend Combs’ parties. Lil Rod even claimed that he had photo evidence of Stevie J being “intimate” with another man.
Back then, Stevie J told TMZ, “These allegations are false, and my lawyer will be handling this going forward.” He also publicly defended his longtime friend and associate Sean Combs against the allegations in the lawsuit.
Subsequently, in March, Stevie J was reported as being present when the bureau raided the Bad Boy Record owner’s houses in Miami. He confirmed the same during a social media live session the following month and called it the use of “excessive force.”
Earlier this year, Stevie J also shared a video titled “What a real Diddy party looks like.” In the video, he dismissed the rumors and allegations that they were centers of “illegal” and “inappropriate” activities.
In other news, on August 26, Sean Combs’ legal team filed a motion to dismiss Lil Rod’s lawsuit. His attorney Erica Wolff called it a “pure fiction” and a “shameless attempt to create media hype and extract a quick settlement.” She added that they looked forward to proving all the allegations false and dissolving the suit.
