After Richie Branson introduced a Not Like Us- based video game on July 16, Drake fans responded with a web game based on his diss track Family Matters a week later. Both the games seemingly took jabs at each other. The game creators took a direct shot at Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us, and the Family Matters game credit section read:

"Made by some real ones to prove a point. That Not Like Us game was trash. KBots backdooring the plays like Kendrick’s Spotify, haha."

The game consisted of an animated version of Kendrick Lamar, and the purpose of the players would be to "feed" him Grammy trophies.

Meanwhile, netizens came across this newly-launched video game and reacted to it. A fan took to X and pointed out the game feature which revolves around feeding Lamar Grammy trophies.

"This is actually jokes unlike the cringe “Not Like Us” game," said a fan.
"Lmaoo this funny actually. As long as it ain’t the Whitney one," added another tweet.
"Bruv... that cry when he misses a Grammy shot is funny as hell," tweeted a fan.

A lot of fans joked about the new game and accused Drake and his fans of "copying" everything. A fan wrote on X,

"No way they already made a Family Matters game just like the Not Like Us one."
"Fits the ongoing theme, drake is a copy cat of existing things, nothing is ever original," shared another tweet.
"Can’t even be authentic with your clap backs," added another one.

Exploring the new Family Matters-based video game and the diss track briefly

The game creators seemingly took a line from Family Matters, quite literally, where Drake said:

"Kendrick just opened his mouth, someone go hand him a GRAMMY right now."

In the game released on July 22, Lamar could be seen moving left to right, while his mouth opened at intervals. The player had to shoot a trophy into the rapper's mouth. The player would get three chances and if they missed it, the game would be over. Fans also noticed how Lamar's eyes would tear up in the video game, the moment a player missed the shot.

As mentioned, the game had parts that were also direct attacks at Lamar like accusing him of using bots to enhance the number of Spotify listeners. DJ Akademiks, however, stated that he had reached out to someone on the platform who claimed that Lamar's numbers on Spotify were not fabricated, as reported by Complex.

The play button featured a ring that was initially worn by Tupac Shakur, and later purchased by Drake for about $1 million last year. The game description further read:

"Kendrick just opened his mouth. Someone go feed him a Grammy right now. Tap the Grammy to feed Kenny. Don't miss or he'll be sad."

After the game link was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, the creator of the video game based on Not Like Us, found the new game funny and tweeted:

"Lmaoooo this is real. Credits say 'That Not Like Us game was trash.'"

In a follow-up tweet, Richie Branson asked netizens if he should make another game based on Kendrick's popular diss track Meet The Grahams. In the tweet, he wrote,

"Should I clap back with a "Meet The Grahams” game or nah? lmao."

Meanwhile, the video game based on Family Matters has received mixed reactions with some who loved it and found it hilarious and others who criticized the makers for copying the Not Like Us game. As of now, the highest score in the game has been listed at 69.

Family Matters was first released on May 3, 2024, when the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake was at its peak. The song was quite successful since it debuted in the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The diss track didn't just target Lamar, but several other artists including Future, Rick Ross, Pharrell Williams, and The Weeknd.

The track was released after Lamar dropped Euphoria and 6:16 in LA. The Not Like Us rapper then responded to this track with Meet The Grahams.

In the Not Like Us-based game, players had to hit an OVO owl-shaped piñata

While the official beef between Lamar and Drake has been over for a while, fans seem to be having difficulty letting it go. Netizens from both ends have constantly targetted the artists on social media platforms through memes. After Kendrick Lamar released the much-awaited music video for Not Like Us, people got even more excited.

In the meantime, a creator came up with a video game based on Not Like Us, which Drake and his fans seemed to take as a direct attack. This prompted Drake fans to come up with another game as well, which was based on Family Matters.

Netizens have now been playing the games and flaunting their high scores through screengrabs.
