Lil Durk's arrest on a charge of murder-for-hire on October 25, 2024, and rapper Wack100 has recently shared his response to the legal issue, stating how it can affect the huge empire that he has built over the years from his successful career in the music world.

While speaking to DJ Vlad on October 28, the host said that Durk is among the top 10 rappers today, and Wack100 agreed. The latter continued by saying:

"He had a great empire. Now, right now I think what's going to hurt him most. One, the incarceration. Two, what's going hurt him most because they're going to say your company, the money it generated is a criminal empire. The funds were being used to commit heinous criminal acts. They're going to freeze all that."

Wack mentioned that Lil Durk cannot easily approach anyone for help considering the situation he is dealing with right now, including his attorney fees. He referred to the same by saying:

"The minute they're left there for dead and they're saying we got 50-60 years of life unless you cooperate, we'll give you 10, 15, 20, he cannot supply the funding it takes to help protect and secure these individuals because they're going to freeze those funds. Assets, real estate, stocks, wherever he has his name, personal and in that business, they're going to freeze."

Wack further stated that Lil Durk would be fine since he has many "partners" in the music industry who can handle his attorney fees.

Vlad addressed the fact that Durk reportedly tried to leave for Italy by booking three different flights on the day of his arrest and Wack responded by saying that Durk's case would possibly lead to a life sentence.

Notably, Durk has accumulated a lot of wealth from his rapping career over the years and his net worth currently stands at $8 million, as per CelebrityNetWorth. He has released eight albums so far and his last major project was Almost Healed, which came out in May 2023.

Lil Durk's hip-hop group OTF alleged of being associated with criminal activities

Also known as Durk Devontay Banks, he was taken into custody for reportedly planning a murder attempt on Quando Rondo in 2022. The duo were involved in a feud ever since an associate of Rondo allegedly killed King Von back in 2020, who was a part of Durk's rap collective OTF.

Five other people, who were believed to be members of OTF, were also arrested a day before Durk was captured at the airport for reportedly being a part of the rapper's plans.

According to a press release from the US Attorney's Office, a complaint filed on October 24 claimed that OTF members were involved in murder and assault activities after being ordered by Durk.

On the other hand, Lil Durk reportedly put a bounty on Rondo after King Von's death and the OTF members used two vehicles to track Rondo on August 19, 2022.

Rondo was accompanied by his cousin Lul Pab at a gasoline station where the accused reportedly fired at Rondo's car around 18 times, leading to Pab's death.

The accused were staying in a hotel and their expenses were paid through Lil Durk's credit card. The entire group traveled to California after an associate of Durk purchased five flight tickets and Lil also came to the place in a private jet.

The five arrested people were accused of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, murder-for-hire involving death, and the use of a machine gun in a violent crime resulting in death.
