Amid the entire drama surrounding Sean "Diddy" Combs, Suge Knight spoke to Chris Cuomo in an interview on NewsNation, on September 24, through a call from prison. During the conversation, Knight mentioned that Combs wasn't the only one to be blamed in the entire case.
He claimed:
"Puffy didn’t get to where he got by doing those things listed in the allegations by himself. He was taught by people before him and he did it to the younger people after him."
He further named Clide Davis, Russell Simmons, and Jimmy Lovine, for being responsible for Combs' problematic behavior. He had further described Diddy as a "victim of abuse."
Meanwhile, Uncle Luke responded to Knight's comments during his appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show on Friday, September 27. He said:
"[Suge is] still connected to the outside world. You know, in some shape, form, or fashion. You know, [there are] guys [that aren't] supposed to have their telephones in jail, but they do have their telephone in jail."
He further stated that he had heard Knight's claims about Diddy being drugged over time. He believed that there had to be some truth to the claims. Luke continued:
"A lot of my friends who know him real closely, you know, they say that he got consumed with the drugs..."
Uncle Luke finally mentioned that if one didn't "control the industry, the industry will control" them. He further explained that one had to be humble to survive in this industry.
In the end, Luke also referred to the racism lawsuit that Diddy filed against Diageo. The two parties reportedly settled, putting an end to the legal battle. According to Uncle Luke, the mogul was impacted by external factors when he chose to go after such big companies.
Uncle Luke had previously shared his take on possible factors responsible for Diddy's downfall
This wasn't the first time that Uncle Luke had spoken about Combs and severe allegations against him. A few months ago, Luke mentioned the same on Instagram live. He then said:
"When you get your billions, and they put you on a pedestal, that’s because they put you up on a pedestal. They made you the guy. They place you on every network. They sold you to all y’all on here."
While Page Six tried reaching out to Luke after he made the remarks, his representatives stated that the comments were recorded before the federal agents raided his home in March this year.
As mentioned before, Suge Knight had also defended Diddy and claimed that he was taught to behave this way by others in the industry. Knight even claimed that the industry had a norm of exploiting those who were new there.
Knight then called out several A-listers of the industry including Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross, for not being a "whistleblower" in the case and being completely silent. As of now, Diddy faces s*x trafficking charges and has also gotten his bail denied by the Judge.
