A Canadian healthcare platform called Felix has used Drake's mixtape If You're Reading This It's Too Late font to advertise a medicine called Ozempic.
The platform used the same font style as the mixtape to write its tagline: "If You're Reading This You Might Be Eligible for Ozempic." The advertisement is meant to spread awareness and encourage individuals to contact a health professional in Canada to know if they're eligible to take the Ozempic medicine.
Fans were quick to notice Drake's mixtape font in the advertisement and gave mixed reactions on social media. One user commented that "they" are treating Drizzy like "Meek in 2025", supposedly referring to fellow rapper Meek Mill. X user @CurtisBashar wrote:
Many users supposedly poked fun at Drake, while others defended the rapper. Some found the advertisement funny.
"Means nothing, Drake gave it clout himself" a user said.
"Great advertisement" another added.
"Crodie caught another 😭 that’s lowkey hilarious tho lol" another said.
"People need to stop disrespect the goat of the music Drake just because he keep own rap for 25 years now.👑" a user defended along with a picture of Drizzy.
"Cringe on so many levels..." a comment read.
"Vince Staples was right" one more added.
"Drake taking L’s is a daily occurrence at this point" a user wrote.
The Canadian healthcare platform Felix used the font to promote a medicine called Ozempic. As per the medicine's official website, it is a prescribed drug for adults for regulating type 2 diabetes that helps in improving blood sugar levels. The website clarifies that it is not a weight loss supplement but helps regulate sugar levels, which could help with weight loss.
Who designed the cover of Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late album?
Drake's fourth mixtape, If You're Reading This it's Too Late, was released in February 2015. Canadian artist Jim Joe designed the album's cover art with its unique font style. Joe is a popular graffiti artist based in New York City who's best known for his street artwork.
Joe has also worked with Kanye West on the artwork of Yeezus. According to Revolt, Jim Joe is also close to OVO consigliere Oliver El-Khatib, which could have helped Drake spot his work.
Upon release, the unique font and design of IYRTITL's cover art caught the eyes of fans, with multiple websites coming up with an option to imitate the font. Websites such as FontMeme and FontBolt have the option of generating text in that exact font.
The font looks like a child's handwriting, with all letters written in capital. It goes well with the theme of Champagne Papi's album, which supposedly has a sense of urgency associated with it. The album art also included a pair of hands with '6' on it.
As per a report by XXL, a Tumblr account, B4-XVI, speculated that the hands could be associated with a painting by German artist and mathematician Albrecht Dürer. The artist's 1508 painting, Studie zu den Händen eines Apostels (translates to Study of the Hands of an Apostle), allegedly included a similar caricature of the hands. However, Drizzy never confirmed this himself.
The '6' in the album is widely speculated to be a reference to his hometown, Toronto, in Canada. According to Acclaim Magazine, two area codes of the city include 6 in it, making it the official nickname of Toronto.
If You're Reading This It's Too Late was a surprise drop from the rapper and a massive commercial success, having sold over half a million copies without any promotion, single release, or press run. It debuted at No 1 on the US Billboard Hot 200 chart.
The mixtape, widely considered as good as a studio album, was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over one million records in the United States alone.
The album consisted of 17 tracks, including collaborations by Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, and PARTYNEXTDOOR. Many of Drizzy's songs from the album arguably became some of his most iconic tracks, such as 6 God, Know Yourself, Legend and Energy.
