Kanye West’s former chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos took to X on August 13 to leak an alleged text exchange between him, Ye, and celebrity dentist Dr. Thomas P. Connelly, revealing the rapper asking for laughing gas.
“Can I have the Nitrous today? Tom, you said you’d bring them by today. Checking in,” Ye’s alleged DM read.
In response, his longtime associate and orthodontist Dr. Connelly reportedly wrote:
“Are you at the chateau? Yes, can do.”
Milo Yiannopoulos’ post comes nearly a week after he accused Thomas Connelly of supplying Kanye West with nitrous oxide for recreational use.
Amid Yiannopoulous’ latest tweet, the internet is having varied reactions. For instance, X user @aycdjake commented directly under Milo’s post, claiming that Ye’s associates were trying to end him.
“They are trying to kill my GOAT,” the user wrote.
Several others joined the conversation and shared similar concerns. Fans demanded that Ye be rescued from under the influence of Dr. Connelly and even used hashtags including #freekanye and #freeye.
“My GOAT is getting MJ’d,” a person wrote.
“Need to get Ye the f*ck away from that death doctor,” one person wrote.
“#freekanye #freeye. I'm pretty sure he's being held hostage. He has lost the spark in his eye. You can see it in almost every picture,” another person wrote.
Others questioned the authenticity of Milo Yiannopoulos’s post and claimed he was trying to tarnish the name of Kanye West by spreading misinformation.
“Why would Milo have screenshots of texts between Ye and dentist Thomas? And why release them at this time? None of this makes sense other than it’s a hoax,” a netizen wrote.
“How is it proof though? How do we know they’re who you claim they are?” another netizen wrote.
Meanwhile, others lauded Milo for attempting to expose Dr. Connelly and protect Ye.
“Better for you to release this to the public for everyone to see so it doesn’t get hidden away in a file,” an individual wrote.
“I <3 u Milo. Thank you for trying to get Ye off this sh*t,” another individual wrote.
Exploring Milo Yiannopoulos’ leaked text exchange allegedly featuring Kanye West and Dr. Connelly
Besides Kanye West reportedly asking Thomas Connelly to provide him with laughing gas and the latter agreeing, the celebrity dentist seemingly wrote in the leaked text exchange that the “long-term goal” should be to try and get “recreational nitrous [oxide] legalized.” He also suggested to “master” the delivery process to get a “2-year head start.”
Meanwhile, Yiannopoulos responded by seemingly pointing out that prolonged use of laughing gas causes birth defects, Vitamin B12 deficiency, spinal disintegration, and more.
“Why would anyone want to introduce another drug to an already depressed, addicted, demoralized, and apathetic population of dopamine slaves,” Milo added in the DMs.
Yiannopoulos wrote in the caption of the alleged leak chat that it was “proof” that Dr. Connelly agreed to deliver laughing gas to his “heavily addicted patient Ye” at the Los Angeles Chateau Marmont Hotel, calling it a site of “dozens of celebrity overdoses and suicides.”
In a follow-up post, Milo Yiannopoulos further shared a reel revealing more from the alleged text exchange, which included pictures of nitrous oxide cylinders. Not only that but he pointed out in it that Thomas Connelly installed nitrous oxide tanks at Kanye West’s home which allegedly made his employees voice their concerns for his well-being. However, the doctor refuted his claims and alleged that the tanks were “empty.”
Last week, Ye’s former advisor and campaign manager filed an affidavit with the California Dental Board requesting them to suspend the medical license of “dangerous predator” Thomas Connelly for reportedly getting the E.T. rapper addicted to laughing gas and supplying it regularly for his own business profits.
Milo Yiannopoulos claimed that it diminished Ye’s “mental faculties” and adversely impacted his life, following which he was unable to “release music or clothing.”
In the wake of this, Dr. Connelly’s representative denied all the accusations to TMZ and claimed that they were “not only factually incorrect but also intentionally misleading.” The spokesperson added that it was an attempt on Milo’s part to damage his reputation and seek attention to himself.
