Watermelon Sugar singer Harry Styles recently surprised fans as he joined Stevie Nicks as a special guest at BST Hyde Park on July 12, 2024. Before she invited Harry on stage, Stevie Nicks told the audience that she had asked the singer to help her commemorate her Fleetwood Mac bandmate Christine McVie's 81st birthday.

Stevie mentioned that after Christine passed away in 2022, she would always say something about the late bandmate on stage, and this time, she asked Harry to do it with her. Harry Styles and Stevie Nicks sang Landslide and Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around to celebrate the late Christine McVie's 81st birthday.

Fans of the As It Was singer took to social media to react to Harry's special appearance. Some of them speculated that this was a hint at Harry's possible upcoming album and others hailed the duo's collaboration.

"HS4 ROLLOUT IS STARTING," a fan tweeted.
"so iconic," an X user wrote.
"Harry Styles and Stevie Nicks is a duo I did not know I needed. I need more," a fan added.
"Seeing Stevie nicks live was honestly one of the greatest things ever then she goes and tops its off by bringing Harry styles out," an X user wrote.

Netizens also spoke about how happy Harry's presence made the audience as they reacted to the videos of the concert that went viral online.

"The crowd is really loves our harry," a fan tweeted.
"The screams, we missed you harry," an X user mentioned.

"Harry, I thank you - we thank you!" — Stevie Nicks appreciated Harry Styles for joining her in London

To pay tribute to Christine McVie on stage, Harry Styles arrived at the BST Hyde Park concert sporting an embroidered songbird pin, which was a reference to late McVie's song Songbird from the 1977 album Rumours by Fleetwood Mac.

After the duo's performance, Stevie Nicks expressed her gratitude to Harry for joining her and stated:

“Harry, I thank you - we thank you!”

This is not the first time Stevie Nicks has spoken about Harry. In 2019, she gave an interview to Rolling Stone and expressed her admiration for the As it Was singer. This came after he released a cover of the band's The Chain. Calling Harry Styles her and Mick Fleetwood's "love child," Stevie Nicks stated:

“When Harry came into our lives, I said, ‘Oh my God, this is the son I never had.’ So I adopted him. I love Harry, and I’m so happy Harry made a rock & roll record."

She also spoke about him to Zane Lowe on Apple 1 Music and mentioned that she and Styles would be "best friends in another life."

Apart from his recent performance as a special guest alongside Stevie Nicks at BST Hyde Park, Harry Styles has not performed on stage since the end of his Love On Tour in July 2023.

Fans are now eagerly waiting for Harry's new project after his previous full-length album Harry's House was released in 2022 and won a Grammy for Album of the Year.
