Baby Chappell went viral on TikTok after dressing up like Chappell Roan in a video

In a video shared by Kelsey Wasson on TikTok last week, Juliet was featured dressed up like Roan with a pink-sequined onesie and white boots. When her mother called her Juliet, Baby Chappell said “I’m not Juliet! I’m Chappell Roan!” The video quickly went viral on the internet, with 8.4 million views and counting.

Kelsey Wasson's caption in the video said, "When your curly, red-headed toddler finds someone that looks like her," suggesting that Juliet has hair similar to Chappell Roan. She likely wanted to dress up as the singer as she felt she looked like her.

As per WDRB news, Baby Chappell first attended a concert by Roan at the Kentuckiana Pride Festival on Saturday. The singer's PR team reportedly planned a meet-and-greet to surprise the toddler. Juliet's mother drove the 2-year-old from Lexington to Louisville to see Chappell Roan for the first time. The concert was held at the Big Four lawn in Waterfront Park.

Ahead of the concert, Juliet met Roan backstage and the moment was captured on video by Kelsey Wasson. Juliet and her parents reportedly watched the concert from the first few rows and stayed back at the venue for 30 minutes as people recognized Juliet from the viral video on TikTok and wanted to click pictures with her.

Chappell Roan shared emotional message about having a "hard time" during her Midwest Princess Tour

Chappell Roan recently got emotional while talking about how fast her career is progressing in one of her shows on the Midwest Princess Tour. In a June 12 show at Raleigh, North Carolina, Roan broke down while on stage and admitted that she was having a hard time. She said:

“I just want to be honest with the crowd: I just feel a little off today because I think that my career is just kind of going really fast and it’s really hard to keep up. And so I’m just being honest that… I’m just having a hard time today.”

She assured her audience that she was not trying to give them a "lesser show" but spoke about it feeling heavy sometimes as a lot is going on in her career. She said:

“I’m sorry. I’m not trying to give you, like, a lesser show, it’s just like, there’s a lot going on. So, just thank you for understanding. This is all I’ve ever wanted, it’s just so… it’s just heavy sometimes.”

Roan has had a lot of developments in her career recently, especially after the release of her 2023 album, The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess. The singer shot to fame as her album made it right after the Top 10 in the Billboard Hot 200.

Her hit song, Red Wine Supernova has 100 million streams on Spotify and counting, and her latest April 2024 single, Good Luck, Babe! became her most successful song to date. Roan was also a part of the opening of Olivia Rodrigo's GUTS tour, adding to her sky-rocketing popularity.
