Dave Portnoy had made his way into the headlines after the BFF podcast co-host released a diss track on Zach Bryan, the ex-boyfriend of his friend and co-host of the podcast, Brianna Chickenfry. The song is named Country Diddy and is the second diss track on Zach by Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.

The song, released on November 10, 2024, talks about how Zach allegedly treated Brianna during their relationship. The lyrics seemingly suggest that Zach was an alcoholic and hypocrite:

"Country Diddy, country Diddy. Steal another story write another country ditty. All these NDAs, you sound like a country Diddy. Something like your face, This isn’t looking pretty.”

Furthermore, as soon as Dave Portnoy released the song, it started garnering attention from the masses, who reacted to the diss track.

As an X account, @Barstool Sports posted the song, Country Diddy, on X, one user commented:

“This is Eminem level lyrics.”

On the other hand, others also reacted to the video and commented on the post:

“It was going to be tough to top the first one. That first one was probably the best thing y'all did in years,” read one comment.
“Can’t believe I listened to that whole thing and i aint mad about it,” wrote an X user.
“Boom. Roasted,” added another netizen.

Furthermore, many others called the song “amazing,” while a few compared it with Kendrick Lamar dropping diss tracks.

“This is amazing,” wrote an X user on the post.
“Dave is pulling a Kendrick Lamar. Just drop the full diss album at once, don’t go one at a time,” added another.
“Lyrical genius Rone,” mentioned another social media user.

For the unversed, Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry started dating in July 2023 and were often seen together in events and red carpets. However, in October 2024, Bryan posted on social media, and revealed that the two had decided to breakup.

Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards have also released another diss track on Zach Bryan previously

The whole fiasco started after last week’s episode of Barstool’s BFF podcast where Brianna opened up about her breakup with Zach Bryan. She shared how she was in a “toxic relationship,” and also talked about the one time when Zach allegedly offered her $12 million to sign an NDA which talked about the instances when she got mad at him for small things.

Brianna said:

“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life, dealing with the abuse from this dude. I’m still scared of him, my brain’s rewired. I’m scared to make him mad. Last week I didn’t want to talk about it because I was scared.”

Furthermore, as Zach and Brianna revealed on October 22, 2024, that they had broken up, the BFF podcast co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards released their first diss track about Zach Bryan, called Smallest Man.

The Dave Portnoy song, a diss track on Zach, spoke about how he “was a liar,” and touched upon his love life and previous marriage to Rose Madden. The song, which was initially deleted due to copyright, and reuploaded on November 10, 2024, had the following lyrics:

"I said trust me, caught your pants on fire. Tinder, Bumble, Raya, knew you was a liar. You're a d*uchebag, you just made a new rival. Pretty soon you going to need a revival. You say you remember everything, I guess not because you forgot about your wedding ring. I ain't coming subliminal, you're great at being country without a second syllable."

Both the Zach Bryan diss tracks by Dave Portnoy have become popular amongst the masses, as Smallest Man garnered more than 135,000 views in just a day, while Country Diddy received more than 335,000 views in just a few hours.

However, at the moment, Zach Bryan has not addressed the diss tracks.
