"This not gonna help y'all dad"— Lil Woody reacts to Young Thug's kids dissing Gunna in a new song 

During a recent episode of The Danza Project podcast, Lil Woody opened up about Young Thug’s kids dissing Gunna in a song that has gone viral on social media. The song’s clip going viral on the internet shows Young Thug, aka Jeffery Lamar Williams’ kids, rapping:

“And Bentley a rat he keep leaving states. And Gunna get whacked if he don’t leave L.A.”

Lil Woody accepted that the clip was amusing but said it could harm their father’s case.

“These kids, they in the environment and they see in the media. They going off everything and this they dad. They hurt. This not gonna help y'all dad,” Lil Woody said.

While Jeffery Lamar Williams’ kids have only released the teaser of the unreleased song as of now, the snippet shows them calling Gunna “a rat.” Furthermore, the short video shows the kids dancing in front of the camera as one of them threatens to harm him.

Jeffery Lamar Williams is facing years in prison for his role in the YSL gang. Thug faces many charges, including possession of drugs, conspiracy to violate the state’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, and participation in criminal street gang activity.

“It’s about right is right, wrong is wrong”— Lil Woody advises Young Thug’s kids

Kenneth Copeland, aka Lil Woody, was one of the witnesses in the Young Thug and YSL Rico trial. However, when he was called to the court in June 2024, he refused to testify in the case, for which he was also briefly arrested. He later provided a statement to help the prosecution build their case against the gang.

Lil Woody has now poured his thoughts on Young Thug’s kids bashing Gunna in a song, as he opined:

“It’s about right is right, wrong is wrong. The song made me laugh, I watched it so many times but it was just like, this not gon’ help ya’ll dad. Any negativity, it’s not gonna help him.”

Young Thug has been in jail since May 2022 and has been denied bail several times. As per FOX 5 Atlanta, Woody allegedly gave an insight to the police regarding previous crimes and the gang's plan of action after Thug’s arrest, which made him a key witness in the case.

It is not yet clear if Thug has given his approval to the kids to make a diss track for Gunna.

Meanwhile, many on social media continue to bash the kids for the song, and many are questioning Thug’s parenting. Some netizens are also concerned about the legal repercussions of the song.
