Former record executive and convicted felon Suge Knight connected with NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo via a telephone call from prison on September 24 and got candid about the ongoing legal troubles of his longtime rival, Sean Combs.

As per Suge Knight, Diddy had a staff named Tubby, primarily linked to Interscope Records, who found young and minor girls for his alleged s*x trafficking business.

“This guy’s job was to bring underage girls and girls who’d have s*x. For employees and other artists,” Suge Knight claimed.

He also said that nobody from the hip-hop community was “stepping up” for Diddy and name-dropped rappers, including Snoop Dogg, the Game, Drake, T.I., Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and others, claiming they were all “playing safe.”

The former CEO and co-founder of Death Row Records also alleged that Diddy was going through drug withdrawals in federal custody.

Exploring what Suge Knight said about Diddy’s current situation

During his recent telephonic interview with Chris Cuomo, Suge Knight claimed that Diddy was “smart enough to work his magic” with the feds and save himself as much as possible. This could involve revealing his trade secrets and giving up the names of his alleged accomplices, which would include many A-listers from the hip-hop community and elsewhere in Hollywood.

Suge doubled down on his previous claim that Sean Combs has been involved with the FBI as an informant for a long time to know how they work and have many "moves" left. He also alleged that President Obama got him out when he first started his drug-related business.

Knight further claimed that Diddy was “groomed” by big shots, which is why he allegedly did the same to other young people, including Usher and Justin Bieber. Additionally, the 59-year-old claimed that Diddy was "gay" not because of his s*xual preference but as a means of "control" and to exercise his "power."

He claimed everybody knew that the thing ran bigger and deeper than Combs and was “worried” that it might catch up to them. Suge Knight even warned Diddy to be “careful” in prison, as people like him might get “hurt.”

This is not the first time Suge Knight has spoken since Diddy’s arrest. Last week, during his latest episode of the podcast Collect Call with Suge Knight, he claimed to know “secrets” about Combs’ alleged criminal activities, which he said could make the ongoing case difficult.

“I’ll tell you what Puffy, your life is in danger ’cause you know the secrets of who’s involved in that little secret room you guys are participating in… You know they gonna get you if they can… I turned myself in. Sometimes you gotta face the music, that’s most of the time.”

Suge Knight offered the Bad Boy Records mogul suggestions to make his life easier if he ended up in prison, saying he always needed to make quick decisions. He also mentioned how Brother Love was not a “good code name for prison,” hinting that Combs might change his name if he’s incarcerated.

The former record executive is currently serving 28 years in prison after pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter in a 2015 fatal hit-and-run case.

Federal agents arrested Sean Combs on September 16, 2024. He is facing three felony charges, including racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He has so far pled “not guilty” and is currently being held without bond at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn, under suicide watch, awaiting trial. He has been denied bail twice on the grounds that he is a “serious flight risk.” If convicted, he is looking at 15 years to life in federal prison.
