NLE Choppa expresses support towards the LGBTQ community in another interview
Also known as Bryson LaShun Potts, his fans showered a lot of love for him as soon as he announced a performance at the Black Pride Weekend. While this step has recognized his support towards the LGBTQ community, he addressed the same during an interview on The Zach Sang Show last month.
The response came after his single Sl*t Me Out 2 was criticized by homophobics in April this year for featuring gay lyrics. While speaking to Zach Sang on August 20, NLE Choppa stated that everything needs to be handled with love. He further stated:
"I'm a free thinker. You do what you do, it's cool, man. I support you in whatever you do because I know how it feels to not be supported when you're just doing what you feel is best for you. It's just like racism."
Notably, when NLE Choppa was criticized for Sl*t Me Out 2, he replied with a tweet on April 12, 2024, and wrote:
"I understand me being in love with myself as a blackman as so rare to the point some people try putting the homosexual jacket on my name but with all due respect I love all, but my intimacy lies with women only."
NLE Choppa also praised the LGBTQ community for their response to the single, adding that he creates music for everyone without any discrimination.
