On Friday, October 8, 2024, the 67th annual Grammy Awards revealed that the singer's work on Cowboy Carter earned her 11 nominations, including those for the best record, best song, and album of the year.

Beyonce is the most-nominated artist at the Grammys and the most-awarded artist overall

Friday's announcement raised Queen Bey's overall Grammy nominations to 99, making her the most-nominated artist at the show overall. Additionally, with thirty-two Grammy wins, Beyoncé is also the most awarded artist in its history.

Close behind the Single Ladies hitmaker with seven nominations each are Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Charli XCX. Following them are Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter, with six nominations each.

Women dominate the 67th Grammy Awards, with five female artists being nominated in all three top general categories—record, song, and album of the year. Beyonce, Swift, Eilish, Roan, and Carpenter share the honor.

Roan and Carpenter are also nominated for the best new artist award along with Benson Boone, Doechii, Khruangbin, Raye, Shaboozey, and Teddy Swims.

The album of the year category has Carpenter's Short n’ Sweet, Beyonce's Cowboy Carter, Charli XCX's Brat, Swift's The Tortured Poets Department, and Roan's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. Also competing in the category were André 3000 with New Blue Sun, Jacob Collier with Djesse Vol. 4, and Billie Eilish with Hit Me Hard and Soft.

Additionally, jazz legend Chick Corea received three posthumous nominations for best jazz performance, jazz instrumental album, and instrumental composition. This brings the late artist's nominations to 75, thus tying him with Ye (a.k.a. Kanye West) as the fifth most nominated artist.

Country star Zach Bryan chose to withdraw his work from being considered for the awards. According to a report by Variety, Bryan "did not feel comfortable with awards shows making music competitive." Other stars to similarly withdraw their work include Drake, the Weeknd, and Frank Ocean.

Despite her several wins and nominations, Beyoncé is yet to win an album or record of the year award. She is also nominated for best pop solo performance, pop duo/group performance (with Post Malone), melodic rap, country solo, Country duo/group performance (with Miley Cyrus), country song, country album, and Americana performance.

The 67th annual Grammy Awards are scheduled for February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
