Singer Madison Beer stepped in to cover a struggling Singaporean nail salon's $3,500 rent after getting her nails done. Hazel Wah, the salon's owner, shared the American singer-songwriter's generous act on Instagram on Sunday, August 25.
Beer, who was in Singapore for her August 22 show at the Singapore Expo Hall 7, reached out to the nail salon Edens' Atelier Co. in Aljunied, before her concert to fix her nails, which were "breaking and falling apart."
When Wah shared her DMs with the musician online, including the part where Madison Beer told her that she covered the rent and asked if Wah had received it, fans were quick to praise the singer's good deed. One fan on Reddit wrote:
"This is so sweet. Like I know we could be cynical and say it's good PR for Madison or a drop in the bucket of her finances, but sometimes a nice gesture is genuinely just a nice gesture! Support a nail tech today."

While Beer's generous act towards her nail tech in Singapore made headlines, some of her fans were not shocked to learn that the singer is generous.
"Doesn't surprise me! I remember seeing a clip recently where she was performing and her crew stopped the concert to wish her a happy birthday. Some of the comments were saying that this only happens if they have a really really good boss so goes to show what an amazing person she is to work with behind the scenes," a Reddit user commented.
"I love Madison for this reason so much and this isn't a first either," another one said.
"give my girl her flowers she's the people's princess," an X user wrote.
More fans online shared their admiration for the singer-songwriter's unexpected kindness.
"The more I learn about this girl the more I like her," a Reddit user said.
"I continued to see reasons why I should be supporting Miss Beer," another fan said.
"Proof that Madison Beer is the sweetest artist ever," a fan chimed in.

Nail salon owner praises Madison Beer for covering her rent for a month
In a carousel of photos, Hazel Wah, the owner of Edens Atelier Co. nail salon (formerly Toto Nail Studio), shared her interaction with Madison Beer on Instagram. Speaking about Beer during their session, she said:
"She was genuinely so kind, so friendly it was such a surreal and amazing experience and from the bottom of my heart, I'll forever be grateful."
Wah mentioned that the musician sent her $3,460 to help pay her shop's rent for the month, something that she "still can't comprehend." While she was doing Madison Beer's nails on the morning of her Singapore concert, Wah noted that they "chatted loads" and that there was no mention of the singer wanting to help out with her rent bills.
According to Wah, Beer had her agency transfer the money via PayNow before the singer informed her via DM that she had covered her rent for the month. Wah told the singer that she would like to return the money because she was feeling bad and that it wasn't her intention to ask for it, and she was "just sharing the story" about her struggling nail salon during their session.
However, Madison Beer won't have it, and in the caption of her Instagram post, Wah said that the entire Edens team "truly appreciates everything you've done for us."
