Everything to know about Drake's luxurious Toronto mansion The Embassy

While the recent mini vlog has attracted massive attention from netizens who commented on the rapper's wealth, it is worth knowing more about the expensive property. In April 2020, Architectural Digest published an article giving insights into the amenities of the mansion.

According to the outlet, Drake's mansion which was designed by Ferris Rafauli, reportedly had interiors which were made of exotic woods, limestone, and several other expensive materials. It also has an NBA regulation-size indoor basketball court.

Two sculptures designed by popular designer Kaws decorated the entrance of the mansion. The outlet further reported the rapper's statement where he spoke about his mansion. He said:

"Because I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years. I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel."

Rafauli had also spoken about The Embassy and said:

"In form, materials, and execution, the structure is a proper 19th-century limestone mansion. But the exterior profiles are more minimal and the lines are a bit cleaner."

Drake mentioned that the style and size of the rooms of the mansion made it evident to understand the extravaganza of the huge property. While talking about the mansion, he revealed that he definitely wanted a few people to see the results, after he had worked so hard for so many days.

This would point out to one priced possession of the rapper, a concert grand piano by the Austrian piano maker Bösendorfer, designed in collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.

Despite many luxurious facilities in the residence, the mansion witnessed flooding, back in July 2024. Drake posted an Instagram of a portion of the mansion, which showcased the area in the mansion, being flooded with water. Drizzy first gave a look at his mansion in a music video for the popular 2020 track Toosie Slide.
