The 2024 Paris Olympics set to be held on August 11, 2024 in Los Angeles, and according to a exclusive report by Variety,the musical performances will see Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, & Red Hot Chili Peppers headline the event. The report withheld the venue of the event due to security reasons amidst a hightened terror alert surrounding major live events.

Report of the three musicians performing at the Olympics Closing Ceremony has since then gone viral, with fans taking to social media to react to the news, as exemplified by the tweet below:

The Paris Olympics closing ceremony performances will signal the changing of the baton from one Olympic Games to another, with Los Angeles set to be the Olympics host city, in 2028.

According to the report, the event will start off with Hollywood star Tom Cruise, known for his penchant for doing his own stunts in the films he stars, doing stunts on motorbikes and then parachuting down from a plane to the Los Angeles venue, where the three headlining musicians would take over from him.

The performances will be produced by Ben Winston in collaboration with the Paris Olympics closing ceremony producers. Winston is known for producing concerts and documentaries such as Bruno Mars: 24K Magic Live at the Apollo and One Direction: This Is Us.

After the performances, the mayor of Los Angles, Mayor Karen Bass would receive the Olympic Torch and take it to home with her, to be kept secure till Los Angeles Olympic Games, which is scheduled to be held from July 14, 2028 to July 30, 2028.

Billie Eilish recently released her third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which was released on May 17, 2024. The album peaked as a chart topper on multiple chart albums.

Snoop Dogg,meanwhile, is set to be release his twentieth studio albums, Missionary, sometime in the near future. Red Hot Chilli Peppers is similarly working on their next studio album.
