Recently, a rumor surfaced on social media that singer, songwriter, and actress Ariana Grande is an alleged people-eater. The claim was first made by TikTok user @imtrixievegas on Wednesday, July 10.

“So, am I the only one who was today years old when they found out that Ariana Grande sold a home back in 2017 or 2013 something… where police found human remains and evidence of cannibalism in there? Sh*t. The media did a great job at hiding that ‘cause boy what the f*ck?” the woman alleged in her video.

Following the TikTok user's bizarre claims, netizens have been expressing their mixed reactions, with the singer's fans reacting in a frenzy. Many Arianators rallied behind the Yes, And? singer and defended her in the wake of the misinformation.

Notably, the Ariana Grande cannibalism conspiracy theory was reportedly first started by her fans as an online prank to ensure that there were enough seats left for them for her alleged upcoming concerts when the tickets go live. In light of the cannibalism hoax and netizens believing it to be true, a person wrote on X,

“This is a win for the actual fans"

In response to the prank, a number of fans expressed their sincere desire for internet users to accept the cannibalism prank in order to obtain tickets for the as-yet-unannounced tour.

“My floor seat tickets w meet & greet passes are secured,” a fan wrote.
“Let them believe it. I gotta get my ticket,” another fan wrote.
“Please don’t say it’s not real I want a ticket,” another person wrote.

Meanwhile, very few people believed the rumor.

“The cannibalism allegations about Ariana must be one of the craziest and funniest thing I’ve seen on this app for a long time,” an individual wrote.
“No one with an ounce of sense or any working brain cells actually believes that Ariana Grande of all people is a cannibal… Let’s all touch grass and move on from this complete non-issue, like seriously,” another individual wrote.
“That’s why she wanted to have dinner with Jeffrey Dahmer. Oh, she’s so sick,” a netizen wrote.

Additionally, there are no confirmed reports that human remains were ever found at the singer’s home.

Ariana Grande’s brother shuts down the cannibalism rumors

Actor, performer, and producer Frankie Grande, who is Ariana Grande’s older half-brother, took to X on July 11 and shut down the rumors of his sister being an alleged people-eater.

Reposting a post by Buzzing Pop about the viral conspiracy theory, he wrote:

“HAHAHAHAHAHA. Wow! This might be the most creative and lowest y’all have ever gone. Reaching new depths daily! Listen, I know my sister’s been eating the girls up for years but this [is] a bit extreme! Besides, she’s vegan. See you on tour!

Last month, Ariana Grande made headlines after she appeared on Penn Badgley’s Podcrushed podcast and shared how she was once “obsessed” with serial killers and even told a fan that she would like to have her “dream dinner” with late serial killer, s*x offender, and convicted cannibal Jeffery Dahmer.

Neither did she address the backlash back then nor has she done it now in the wake of the recent cannibalism conspiracy.
