Drake's lawsuit against Universal Music Group has gained attention as he accuses UMG of allowing some creators to monetize reactions to Not Like Us without issuing copyright strikes. Creators Zias and B Lou have responded to the allegations.

While Zias stated that he reached out to UMG to request them to whitelist Not Like Us for his personal use, B Lou ended up releasing a diss track on January 16, 2025, after being named in the suit. He even titled the track Certified P*ssy Boy.

The diss track blew up online with netizens flooding the social media platforms with their reactions to it. Most netizens did not react with positive reviews about the track. A user (@Zheyn512) tweeted on X:

"Everyone owe @KSI an apology. THIS the worse rap song ever made."

Another user tweeted:

"Yet another person trying to make money off of drake’s name."
"Bro can’t be telling anyone to go get a bag under the gas station lights 🥶," replied a netizen.
"Isn’t this the dude that said “it’s f*cking me up” about the lawsuit. 😭. Boy built like a geek talking crazy," read a tweet.

While many netizens mocked his diss track and ended up criticizing him, a lot of them trolled Drizzy. A user commented:

"Ofc all the ovoh*e Barbie’s don’t like this song 🤣🤣🤣."
"This would’ve been a banger in 2017," mentioned a netizen.
"The Drake D riders in this comment section is wild 😂😂," read a tweet.

Several creators have reacted to Drake's latest lawsuit against Universal Music Group

As aforementioned, a number of creators have been cited in Drizzy's defamation lawsuit filed on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Zias was one streamer whose reaction video on Not Like Us, gained about 6.6 million views since it was dropped. Zias told Rolling Stone that UMG had whitelisted a number of their videos previously, upon request.

According to the outlet, this was in contrast to Drizzy's belief that the company had never whitelisted before Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us. Zias told the outlet:

"There might’ve been a decision at some point on their end to let creators monetize the video after seeing the reception. I don’t know. But I know from our end, that wasn’t the case."

As per reports by Complex, dated January 17, 2025, RDCWorld founder Mark Phillips also shared his opinion of the lawsuit. During a Twitch stream, Mark stated that the lawsuit indicated that Drake couldn't accept his defeat in the rap beef against Kendrick Lamar. He further mentioned:

"One thing I learned in my life is this: The biggest L's come from not knowing how to take an L."

For the unversed, he had been named as one of the creators who helped spread Not Like Us. The suit also named other creators including CartierFamily, No Life Shaq, and Kai Cenat. UMG had denied all of the accusations.
