"Those Kendrick Atl bars aren't aging well" — Netizens react to Young Thug rapping Drake's No Face during jail call with Leena Sayed

Recently Law & Crime Trials leaked a video of Young Thug's jail phone call with model Leena Sayed from July 2022 as per the timestamp on the call. The call was approximately 15 minutes long and was posted to the Law & Crime Trials YouTube channel on December 24, 2024, ahead of the channel's special coverage of Young Thug and the RICO Trial.

At one point during the call, Thug started rapping Drake's 2024 track No Face stating:

"I'm spreadin' my wings, I hop out cocoon/ I'm studio trappin', I'm locked in the room"

Netizens quickly took to X to comment on Thug's phone call video wherein an X user tweeted:

"He know who the goat is," an X user commented.

"and yall said Drake not for the culture🌚 Thug, Baby… Kendrick should’ve known music ain’t gonna turn its back on the guy,🕺🏾" another X user mentioned.

"The real CULTURE - @youngthug jamming to @Drake in prison is as real and hiphop as it gets," one netizen stated.

Additionally, internet users commented on Drake being loved in Young Thug's hometown Atlanta.

"I'm the capital P lol that's my twin"- Young Thug clarifies link-up rumors with Leena Sayed

In the jail phone call video of Young Thug and Leena Sayed uploaded by Law & Crime Trials, Thug was talking about being aligned with Sayed over something and the model apologized to him saying "it came out wrong". While the context of what the rapper and Leena were talking about isn't clear, further in the video, Leena Sayed said:

“This is something that someone else told me, and I feel like I should have never said that to you. I should have never repeated it. I should have never said that.”

Additionally, Sayed became emotional sometime into the conversation and began to cry saying that there is no one like Thug, she doesn't like anyone, and that she wants him. Shortly after the video of his jail phone call was released, Young Thug took to X on December 24, 2024, to clarify link-up rumors with Sayed. He called the model his twin stating:

"Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious s**t, I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no f**k bout no h**s or ni**as I’m the capital P lol that’s my twin and nothing else. Never have never will lol"

In another tweet on the same day, Thug talked about getting Leena Sayed if he wanted to but acknowledged that he got who he wanted, seemingly referring to his girlfriend Mariah The Scientist. The rapper's tweet read:

"I can have that lil s**t right now if I wanted it, but she been pushing the p harder then n***as lol that’s the twin…I got who I want."

While Young Thug clarified rumors following the jail phone call video at his end, Leena Sayed also took to Instagram Stories on December 24, 2024, mentioning the video was from before she met the father of her child. She added that she would never talk to Thug or any other man. Leena Sayed has a child with boxer Devin Haney.

Additionally, in another Instagram story referring to Thug's tweet, Leena said that she wasn't anybody's twin.
