An entertainment platform shared an image on July 12, 2024, showing Bandman standing with his fellow rappers and looking taller than them. He stands at the back, wearing his signature neckpiece and posing for a picture.
The artist announced his height enhancement surgery and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) on June 16, 2024, in a since-deleted Instagram post which saw mixed reactions. After the picture of him went viral, some netizens expressed skepticism, suggesting they initially believed the announcement to be unreal:

"Yo, what's going on y'all? Listen, I've been healing from the BBL and height surgery. Remember I told you I was trying to get taller? I am now 6'8", but I gotta drink this Sway hydration drink for the next three months, or I'll get shorter. So, that's what's being going on man, Bandman said.
The artist further shared about his hydration drink on his X handle on July 11, 2024, suggesting that he could not believe he would have to take the drink for the "rest of his life":
"Can't believe I have to drink swayhydration for the rest of my life to keep my height 🤦♂️ I feel like when I stop drinking, I get shorter," the rapper wrote.
