ASAP Rocky recently collaborated with J. Cole for a new single, Ruby Rosary, that dropped on September 6. The new track has grabbed a lot of attention after a few lyrics were seemingly believed to be targeting Drake. The words that were featured in the song stated:
"Cut the sh*t, cut the lies, word to the wise/Who in your top five? Haha (F*ck your top five)/I don't get fresh step, b*tch, I'm buried alive/I heard dawg talkin' funny, like it's Family Guy/Carin' for n*ggas like I'm Mary or Bob/Made a promise to God, gotta strive when you marry the mob."
Notably, the new track is supposed to be included in ASAP Rocky's upcoming album, Don't Be Dumb. A release date for the project has not been confirmed yet.
Although the lyrics mentioned above were believed to be speaking about Drake, the latter has not shared any response to the same until now. On the other hand, after listening to the single, netizens have already begun sharing their reactions in the comments section of a post shared by NFR Podcast on X (formerly Twitter). One of them stated:

ASAP Rocky's album Don't Be Dumb faces another delay
Also known as Rakim Athelaston Mayers, his upcoming project Don't Be Dumb was supposed to arrive on August 30, 2024. However, the release was postponed to an unspecified date and Rocky's representatives told Pitchfork that it would release in the autumn.
The delay was confirmed through X by a page called Amk with a screenshot of a conversation and the caption stated that the album was coming on September 20, 2024.
ASAP Rocky addressed the delay in a tweet which was a reply to a post shared by NFR Podcast on August 23. He wrote:
"Leaks & sample clearances are disrupting the album. It's been 6 years & I wanna make the best album ever. Im sorry for the wait."
ASAP Rocky additionally expressed his frustrations about the leaks in a January 2023 interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music and said:
"It's very important and special if it makes it on the album."
Three singles from the album have been released until now. As mentioned, Ruby Rosary is the latest track to be released. The other two songs include Highjack and Tailor Swif.
