Rapper Cardi B took to social media to dispel rumors about her Atlanta home being foreclosed due to a "secret" financial crisis. The rumor began circulating after an X account, Icy Scoop News, claimed that the rapper was facing a "secret struggle." According to a now-deleted post reported by The Daily Mail:

“Cardi B's secret struggle: She's allegedly trying to sell one of her homes but is deeply upside down on it. Facing foreclosure, the pressure is mounting as she fights to make the payments. The stakes have never been higher.”

On July 29, the post gained traction on social media and eventually reached Cardi B, who dismissed the claim by stating the house's value had appreciated over time. She continued that if she had to put the house on the market, she'd sell her share to her husband Offset since he loved Atlanta.

“LMAOOO You bum b*****s wish. Me and offset bought that house in 2019 for 5 million now it’s worth 7. Check the Atlanta market And if I ever sold it I would just sell my part to Offset since he loves Atlanta. Throwing salt on my home? Hating bad,” she tweeted.

Cardi B doubled down on her stance during an X Spaces conversation later that day, explaining that she and Offset could sell the house "in the blink of an eye," but they didn't want to. She added that she was doing well financially, stating that her expensive cars, including her Lamborghini and Rolls Royce, were "collecting dust" at home.

“I close my eyes and I can make money. I might just drop $200,000 on a f***ing necklace, because I can b****,” she said on X space.

Cardi B and Offset purchased their Atlanta home in 2019

Cardi B and Offset bought their 5.84-acre mansion in Sandy Springs, Atlanta, in 2019. The sprawling 22,500 sq. ft home, which has five bedrooms and a private swimming pool, was worth $5.8 million at the time of purchase.

According to Crazy Luxury Homes, the house has a wine cellar, a game room, seven bathrooms, an outdoor barbeque area, an underground shooting range, a music room, and a double-story living room.

The mansion was affected by Hurricane Ida, which struck Atlanta in August 2021. The rapper took to Instagram to show the damage the house endured, which included flooding inside the mansion.

Additionally, Cardi B and Offset have homes in Los Angeles and New York, along with their Atlanta mansion. According to the New York Post, she purchased her NY home on September 17, 2021, sharing the news on Instagram:

“These days I don’t just live [in] one place, I’m everywhere due to my work. One thing for sure: I needed a home in my home city of NY! Me and my husband have always dreamed of having a crib in NY, and we have decided to add to our portfolio of homes, along with Atlanta and LA,” she shared.

As of now, it is unclear where the rapper, her husband, and their two children, Kulture and Wave, currently reside.
