Prominent attorney Tony Buzbee has publicly shared a call transcript following his explosive claim that music mogul Jay-Z allegedly attempted to bribe Buzbee’s clients to coerce them into filing lawsuits against him.

On December 10, 2024, American attorney Buzbee took to his X account to assert that investigators from Jay-Z's legal team had reached out to both current and former clients of his law firm, urging them to initiate lawsuits against him. Buzbee further revealed that one of his clients had recorded the conversation —

"INVESTIGATOR: ... We could get you paid, . . . you could get money right soon, you know? We gave this kid 1,000 bucks to start yesterday just to get him on the right path. At the end of the day, this is going to go through the courts, Buzbee is getting sued . . ..," Buzbee wrote.

The tweet followed Buzbee's filing of a lawsuit against Jay-Z on December 8, 2024, in which he accused the rapper, alongside Diddy, of s*xual misconduct involving a 13-year-old minor following the MTV Video Music Awards after-party.

Furthermore, according to the Tribune, Buzbee alleged that Jay-Z's legal team offered $1,000 to his clients and further indicated that individuals are on tape attempting to pay clients to sue his law firm, which he described as a criminal act.

In the latest developments surrounding the ongoing legal battles between Jay-Z and Tony Buzbee, both parties are now taking action against each other.

According to Variety, on December 10, 2024, Jay-Z's legal team, represented by the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, filed a lawsuit against Buzbee, alleging that Buzbee pressured his client to implicate Jay-Z and Diddy.

This claim arose from an incident on Monday, December 9, 2024, when an anonymous woman, referred to as Jane Doe, contacted Jay-Z's law firm and allegedly described her experience with Buzbee's firm, stating that they had pressured her to name both Jay-Z and Diddy. Jane Doe further indicated that the lawsuit she filed in October 2024 did not originally name either Jay-Z or Diddy.

Over the weekend, Tony Buzbee filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z, accusing him of s*xual assault involving a minor in 2000, when Jay-Z and Diddy allegedly took a 13-year-old girl to an after-party following an MTV event.

In response, on December 10, 2024, Jay-Z filed a lawsuit against Buzbee, accusing him of "extortion" and suggesting that the lawsuit filed by Buzbee was itself a form of extortion.

In turn, Tony Buzbee addressed Jay-Z's extortion claims on his X account later that day, dismissing the allegations as "bogus and laughable."

As of now, there have been no new developments in the case, nor any official updates regarding the direction or progression of the legal proceedings.
