Cash Jones, a.k.a. Wack 100, issued a warning to Sean "Diddy" Combs' sons after their altercation with Ray J (real name William Ray Norwood Jr.) during a Halloween party in Los Angeles. On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, the rapper hopped on a live stream to discuss the incident, even bringing Norwood Jr. on the call.
When asked to explain the incident, Ray J revealed that he was "rushed" by eight people as he tried to leave the party. The eight people included Diddy's sons Justin Combs, Christian "King" Combs, and Quincy Brown. However, before things took a serious turn, Chris Brown intervened and calmed the situation.
While Ray didn't seem too bothered by the incident, Wack (after Norwood Jr.'s call ended), addressing the brothers, remarked:
"It’s on... That’s what it’s gon’ be. If we run into you, act like it’s 1995."
As news of Wack 100's remarks spread, internet users were quick to react. One user commented:
"Wack 100 is too old to be instigating this situation! Almost feels like he's clout chasing smh."
Many supported Ray J's move to not take the situation too seriously, calling it "reasonable." Here are some comments seen under @theneighborhoodtalk's post on X:
Others criticized the three brothers for fighting with Ray despite everyone talking about their father.
Ray J pleaded to Wack 100 to not escalate the situation between him and Diddy's children
During the livestream, Ray J could be heard pleading with Wack 100 to "not put this (their conversation) online" as Justin Combs, King Combs, and Quincy Brown were "too young." When Jones again asked if he could put the "other stuff (they've) been knowing about," Ray urged him to "leave them young guys alone."
Norwood Jr. explained that he had "moved away from (the incident)," but Wack asserted, "I'll f**k them N**gas." The music executive reasoned that it wasn't just one person "rush(ing)" him but eight.
Others present on the livestream also asked Wack to calm down, stating that Diddy's family is troubled at the moment.
Justin Combs, King Combs, and Quincy Brown's reaction comes after Ray J's recent comments on his show The Reality Check News. On the debut episode (October 9) of the YouTube series, Ray addressed his relationship with Diddy and weighed in on the controversy surrounding the music mogul.
Federal officers arrested Diddy in September on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The arrest stems from a federal investigation into the rapper after several people sued him, alleging r*pe and violence. This included his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
Ray J, on his show, expressed his disappointment in Diddy and various industry figues who take advantage of young entrepreneurs.
"I’m exhausted with the people in this industry that have power who are abusing the power. I can say a lot of names… I won’t today but I will soon," he remarked.
He also called out the various jokes and memes circulating online about the Diddy controversy, stating they were disrespecting the victims and their suffering.
Combs' children have not publicly reacted to the development. The rapper is currently being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial is set to begin next May.
