Kodak Black took to his Instagram Live on Sunday, July 14, 2024, to warn fellow rapper Plies about his remarks about former POTUS Donald Trump. This comes after Plies dissed Trump on X following his recent assassination attempt in Bulter, Pennsylvania. Several netizens seemed to side with Plies after Yak turned against him.
One internet user said:
One of the many tweets Plies posted regarding the recent firing at Donald Trump read:
“Brah Faking Being Shot Tryin To Win An Election!!! This S**t Crazy!!! He’s Gone Reality Crazy!!!”
In response to the same, Kodak Black came to Trump’s defense and stated online:
“That’s f**ked up by Piles. We ain’t going for any Trump slander. You gotta get that sh*t Plies. Trump ain’t done nothing to you. You feel me? You rich. We rich. Fall back, lover ‘cause sh*t can get mafioso, boy.”
Several internet users were displeased to see Kodak Black side with Donald Trump, and many showed support to Plies on social media. Some reactions to the feud between the two read:
It comes as no surprise that Yak is a supporter of Donald Trump as the latter was pardoned by him in 2021 while serving a four-year sentence on a federal gun charge. Many believed that this was the only reason why the rapper was a supporter of the Republican nominee.
Other reactions to Yak’s most recent claims read:
At the time of writing this article, Plies had not taken to social media to respond to Kodak Black’s Instagram Live. Meanwhile, other reactions read:
What did Plies say about Donald Trump? Details revealed as former gets put on blast by Kodak Black
After Plies published the aforementioned tweet on the social networking site, he continued to put Trump and the Republican party on blast. In one tweet, he said:
“MAGA Like Guns Y’all Suppose To Be Celebrating!!!”
In another tweet, Plies encouraged Joe Biden to push his agenda of “banning assault rifles & gun violence etc.” Another tweet by the rapper read:
“If Surviving Something Makes U Heroic In This Country!! Why Haven’t America Ever Labeled Black Folks “HEROIC” For Surviving SLAVERY!! Why America Never Fully Honored The Officers Who Survived The Capitol Attacks On Jan. 6th? Doesn’t Get More HEROIC Than That!!”
The musician continued to flood his X account with several other tweets regarding the shooting.
Kodak Black’s support of the former Republican president has left several followers in disbelief. In a March 2024 interview when the musician was asked whether he was voting for Trump in the upcoming presidential election, Kodak stated “of course” without any hesitation.
He went on to state that Trump should become president and stay in office for “20 more years” even if he is not elected.
Meanwhile, Thomas Matthew Crooks has been identified as the alleged shooter who fired at Donald Trump. The FBI revealed that the 20-year-old was staged about 140 meters away from Trump when he fired at him with an AR-15 style semiautomatic rifle.
