"U seen my body???" — Foolio's Instagram account responds to fan as rapper's loved ones dance to Yungeen Ace's diss track at his funeral

Foolio, the talented rapper whose life was tragically cut short, made headlines over the weekend under unusual circumstances. Reports surfaced that the rapper's Instagram account responded to a fan query amid the gathering of his loved ones at his funeral.

On July 7, 2024, the rapper's Instagram account shared a music video indicating the new project. When a fan commented about having seen the casket and suggested to stop sharing updates on Instagram. As a result, the rapper's Instagram account replied to a fan:

"@223youngan u seen my body??? Or kicks????"

The same day, images obtained from No Jumper show the inside of the private funeral held at his hometown, Jacksonville, Florida. However, clips shared on the rapper's Instagram story showed his loved ones singing and dancing to an infamous Yungeen Ace diss track, his long-time rap rival.

NBC News confirmed Foolio's passing on June 23, 2024. He died in the early hours of Sunday after allegedly being shot outside a hotel in Florida.

Foolio's Instagram remains active while his loved ones dance at his funeral

Over the weekend, news of Foolio's funeral and a music video posted from his Instagram surfaced online, prompting mixed reactions from fans and industry insiders.

The rapper's Instagram account shared a music video featuring a fire scene with firefighters battling a fire and a masked man appearing from the fire holding an iron rod, leaving all firefighters in shock. The video was captioned:

"DEMI GOD 😈 #IMSTILLSTANDING," on Instagram.

One fan commented on the post, "We saw the casket already," because the same day, images obtained by a pop culture-oriented podcast channel by Riemoh were shared.

The series of images showed a personalized casket with multiple pictures of the late rapper. The second picture shows his casket being transported to the cemetery on a horse carriage, and the last picture shows his loved ones holding doves, attempting to complete the final rituals by releasing them.

In a surprising turn, a video clip shared by Blanco Mani, Foolio's girlfriend, obtained by Riemoh, shows his loved ones playing along at the When I See You by Tampa-based rapper. The track, released on April 22, 2021, is a response to Yungeen Ace's Who I Smoke.

In the track, the Jacksonville rapper took a jab at Ace's brothers and two associates who were allegedly killed after a birthday party in 2018. The verse, precisely what his loved ones were chanting, goes:

"You always on my mind (You always on my mind) / When I ride through the Eastside, I wanna see you / When I see you (When I, when I, when I), huh / You always on my mind (You always on my mind) / Ridin' down Melvin with that iron, I don't see you (I don't see you) / Get did like 23 too (Ha, happy birthday)," Foolio rapped.

This is not the first time the Tampa rapper's Instagram account has featured cryptic comments and posts. On July 3, 2024, a blurry image of his alleged murderer was shared by Riemoh on his Instagram account, under which the rapper commented:

"DEMI GOD 😈," on Instagram.

After his untimely demise at 26, his Instagram account has remained unusually active. It is still unclear who has control over his social media handles.

Foolio's alleged murder case

Foolio, aka Charles Jones, was tragically shot and killed shortly after celebrating his 26th birthday on June 23, 2024. The reason for his alleged murder is not known yet.

As per Fox 13, the rapper was celebrating his birthday at an Airbnb accommodation. After exceeding the number of people in this house, he was asked to leave. He was then relocated to Home2 Suites by Hilton in Tampa, where, in the parking lot, the rapper was allegedly ambushed, including three other friends who survived the incident.

According to the publication, the Tampa police are investigating the cause.
