The deleted post soon went viral on different platforms and the public reacted angrily since 50 Cent shared a funny reaction to the entire incident. One of them also wrote:

Michael Rainey Jr.'s alleged groping moment was captured in a Twitch live video of TyTy James on Sunday, June 9. The actor seemingly appeared uncomfortable at the time and recently shared a statement in response on Instagram Story.
He said that he was unable to process everything that happened. He continued by describing it as "an unfortunate situation" and added:
"I can't take it lightly because I know I would be in serious trouble if the roles were reversed. The fact is, s*xual assault is never okay, regardless of gender or status. We're all human, and we should respect each other. Most importantly, we should always respect ourselves."
One of Michael Rainey Jr.'s representatives also spoke to People magazine on June 10, saying that these kinds of acts are unacceptable. The representative also said:
"Taking advantage of someone's celebrity in this manner devalues entertainers and underscores the need to respect their humanity. Those who entertain us are human beings just like everyone else."
TyTy James said in a video message after the incident that he won't say anything bad about his sister. He also mentioned:
