"Was the baby invited?": Internet reacts as Blueface's father celebrates Chrisean Jr's first birthday without the infan

Blueface's father, Johnathan Porter Sr. recently celebrated the birthday of his grandson Chrisean Jr., who turned a year old on September 3, 2024. Notably, the rapper and the child's mother, Chrisean Rock, are both facing time in prison for different charges.

Johnathan shared a video through his Instagram page on Tuesday which featured a glimpse of the birthday celebrations and the caption reads:

"Happy 1st Birthday prayers up your mother comes home soon. Free Chrisean Free Blue."

The clip included Johnathan sitting in front of the camera with a pile of gifts in the background. There were additional decorations added inside the room where the video was recorded and he said:

"I wanted to wish Chrisean Jr. happy first birthday. Hope you have an amazing blessed day. Free Blueface also we're also hoping that they free Chrisean within the next week so that her and Jr. can go online, open up all you guys' beautiful gifts."

Johnathan also posted another video on his Instagram page, which included various clips of some women sending their birthday wishes to the kid. Johnathan expressed his gratitude to everyone in the caption and just like in the previous post, he demanded the release of Blueface and Chrisean Jr.'s mother.

On the other hand, The Shade Room obtained a glimpse of Johnathan's clip and they shared the same through Instagram. Netizens took to the comments section of the post to share their reactions, with most of them pointing out that the baby was not seen anywhere. A user also wrote:

"Was the baby invited?"

Another netizen expressed her sympathies over the absence of the parents from the birthday celebrations. Blueface's mother Karlissa Saffold mentioned that Chrisean Jr.'s mother would soon be out of prison and also thanked her family for "not exploiting" the child on his first birthday.

Blueface and Chrisean Rock were sentenced last month

The rappers have been dealing with a lot of legal issues over the years. However, things took a turn for the worse as the duo were sentenced on separate charges in August this year.

Coming to Blueface, he was sentenced to four years after he broke the rules of his probation which was linked to an assault incident that happened back in 2021. The news was also confirmed by Johnathan in a video shared on social media and he even requested the artist's fans to pray for his freedom. Johnathan said in the other clip:

"I'm hoping and praying that the judge shows him some mercy and some leniency and free him today. I need y'all to pray up for me. Help me pray for Blueface and let him out today."

A separate probation order was issued for the 27-year-old, also known as Johnathan Jamall Porter, in July this year which emerged from a shooting incident that happened inside a club in Las Vegas in 2022. Apart from the probation, Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney ordered a suspended prison sentence of two to five years.

Chrisean Rock was also sentenced to eight years last month on charges that included failure to have a tax stamp affixed on controlled dangerous substances alongside CDS possession. She was arrested in June this year when she appeared at the court for Jamall Porter's hearing.

Details related to Chrisean's arrest were later revealed in an email sent by a representative for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department to Complex. The email stated that the arrest was linked to a warrant that was issued in Oklahoma.
