Rapper Boosie Badazz was accused of possession of firearms earlier this year. However, the case was dismissed by the judge just weeks ago and the rapper was set free. On July 25, the rapper posted a tweet on his X account that suggested that he was indicted once more by his former prosecutor for the same felony.
The Baton Rouge rapper explained his re-indictment in detail in his tweet. He was vacationing with his family members when his lawyer called and dropped the news that his previous prosecutor, M. Wheat, had accused him of the same felony.
However, this time, he has included charges for drug abuse along with possession of firearms.
“I’M ON VACATION WITH MY FAMILY MY LAWYER CALL ME N SAY THIS FEDERAL PROSECUTOR M. WHEAT HAS INDICTED ME AGAIN ON THE SAME CHARGE N ADDED A CHARGE THAT I WAS A DRUG ATTACK AROUND. A ATTACK AROUND A FIREARM SMH," vented Boosie in his tweet.
The rapper also went a step further and accused M. Wheat of racism. According to the rapper, the prosecutor was harassing him only because he was a "successful black man with a voice." Furthermore, Boosie Badazz called the entire debacle "unconstitutional."
“THIS HAS TO BE UNCONSTITUTIONAL.THIS SHOWS HOW FAR THESE DEVILS WILL GO TO TRY N STOP A SUCCESSFUL BLACK MAN WITH a VOICE .THIS MAN HAS A SERIOUS VENDETTA OF HATE AGAINST ME .HE WANTS TO BE A CHARACTER N A HE JUST DOESNT RESPECT THE COURTS .HE RACIST N HAS NO RESPECT FOR THE COURTS," continued the rapper.
The rapper went on to share an incident pertaining to his first court appearance with M. Wheat. According to his tweet, M. Wheat looked at him and commented, "Wipe me down" the first time the two met each other.
Boosie Badazz referred to his behavior as "obsession" and commented that he had never seen anything like that in his life.
He ended the tweet on a hopeful note for himself and alluded to a divine interference that would help him power through the ordeal.
“30 of us ON VACATION N I GET THIS NEWS ‼️” he wrote. “HE PUT HIS HARDEST BATTLES ON HIS STRONGEST SOUJAS ‘GOD GOT ME’. THIS MAN DOSENT RESPECT THE LAW. TELL A PRESIDENT PARDON THIS B####### #justiceforboosie,” concluded the rapper
Boosie is no stranger to tussling with the law. The rapper was first imprisoned for drug charges in 2009 and was accused of first-degree murder in 2010. Despite the murder charge being dropped eventually, he remained in jail until 2014.
Boosie Badazz was in tears after his 2023 firearm charges were dropped
In May 2023, Boosie Badazz's car was stopped by cops in the Chollas View neighborhood in San Diego, and two loaded handguns were found inside. The cops nabbed him for illegal possessions of firearms but the court dismissed the case weeks later.
However, he was arrested again and charged with being a felon in possession of arms.
However, the court dismissed the case two months later and the rapper couldn't hold back his tears. In an Instagram post, the rapper shared the news of his acquittal to his fans and couldn't stop his tears in a video.
“CASE DISMISSED GOD I JUST WANNA SAY THANK U. EVERY TIME IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE YOU SHOWED THEY ASS! TO ANYONE N TROUBLE CALL ON GOD I DONT CARE HOW BAD IT LOOKS HE WILL DO IT! HE WILL MAKE A AWAY OUT OF NO WAY,” wrote the rapper in the caption.
He ended the caption with a moment of gratitude to his fans who prayed for his wellbeing and also trolled his critics who allegedly wanted him to be jailed and predicted that the verdict would go against the rapper.
In another Instagram post, Boosie Badazz thanked and attributed divine intervention for the favorable verdict.
"God good, boy. He’ll make a way out of no way. That n#### love me, bro," said the rapper in the video.
Boosie also revealed that he would be vacationing cross-country with his family immediately and will visit at least three countries to celebrate the dismissal of the case.
