Canadian rapper Drake is being trolled and receiving hate on social media, after the beef with Kendrick Lamar. "OV-H*E" is a jab Kendrick took at the artist in his track Not Like Us, mocking OVO, a record label owned by Drake. In a recent show by music producer BNYX, fans began chanting the same, which prompted the producer-songwriter to play Drake's verse on Meltdown by Travis Scott.

BNYX almost got dragged into the Kendrick Lamar-Drake beef back in April

In April, when Kendrick and Drake were going all out at each other through diss tracks, BNYX almost got involved in it as well. The producer signed a partnership deal with Zack Bia’s Field Trip Recordings imprint and Capitol Records. He further posted the update on Instagram, which garnered support from several other artists.

The list of artists who extended support back then involved rapper Drake, who had liked the post. A simple like made netizens believe it could mean that he was criticizing or throwing shade at Metro Boomin. Some assumed that the rapper was "replacing Metro with BNYX."

Shortly after that, a massive debate broke out where some users tried to draw a connection between Drake's like on the post and the ongoing beef. BNYX produced the Drake's Search & Rescue track. He was also a producer of Travis Scott's Meltdown, which features Drake.

According to HotNewHipHop, many fans believe what Lamar did to Drake was like what 50 Cent did to Ja Rule. Drake fans are, however, waiting for his strong comeback with possibly a hit single or some strong project.

Kendrick Lamar is currently shooting a music video for Not Like Us after his The Pop Out: Ken & Friends concert, which took place recently on June 19, 2024, in California.
