On June 21, while Morgan Wallen was in the middle of his performance in Minneapolis, he was hit by underwear in the face, which the singer later tossed back at the audience. The incident was captured by a fan and soon went viral on the internet. Wallen was seen performing I Had Some Help when the underwear hit him.

This was one of the many times when fans went rowdy and ended up throwing things at the artists on stage. Morgan Wallen is currently busy with his One Night at a Time World Tour, whose 2024 leg began in April. The next shows are set to happen in Denver on June 28 and June 29. While the tour will end on August 9, in Las Vegas.

The footage of the incident can be watched on the second slide of the following Instagram post. Previously, in July 2023, at a two-show stop in St. Louis, a fan had thrown a boot toward Morgan. However, the singer chucked it away in the opposite direction.

Country music singer Morgan Wallen became the latest artist who had an item thrown at him while being on stage

Morgan Wallen was hit in the face with a thong, during his performance. While singing I Had Some Help, he bent low to sing with the audience members when somebody tossed the underwear at him. It gently hit the singer's forehead, shortly after which he caught it with his other hand. Wallen hilariously threw it back at the crowd and continued his performance.

The current tour is to promote his third studio album One Night at a Time, released in 2023, which eventually became a massive success. The tour was postponed to 2024 after the singer was diagnosed with vocal fold trauma which was caused due to improper usage of his voice.

The path to the tour wasn't quite smooth for the singer. Shortly after it began in April this year, Morgan Wallen was arrested for allegedly throwing a chair off a local rooftop bar.

His next court appearance is scheduled for August 15, 2024. During the same time in April, post the arrest, he was denied a sign for his new bar by the Nashville Metro Council members. Councilwoman At Large Delishia Porterfield then cited his past behavior, for refusing to grant the sign for his new establishment.

The latest incident that happened in Minneapolis, seemed quite similar to many other cases that artists find themselves in. Just a month back, in May, while Megan Thee Stallion was on her Hot Girl Summer Tour, doing a show, a fan tossed a cellphone at her, which fortunately didn't hit her. Stallion, however, tried defending the fan stating that she didn't do it intentionally.
