Johnathan Jamall Porter, a.k.a. Blueface revealed he would be getting out of jail next July. The rapper took to his Instagram stories on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, to announce:

"I'll Ce Out JULY Don't Blink!!!!!"

For the unversed, the Thotina rapper was arrested in January 2024 for violating his probation sentence stemming from his 2022 Las Vegas shooting case. A judge later granted him three-year probation.

However, he remained incarcerated for violating probation stemming from a separate assault case. In August, he received a four-year prison sentence for the latter case.

As news of Blueface's IG story spread, netizens were quick to react. One stated:

"Nah, bruh... We good out here. Extend your stay."

Many were quick to notice the "be" spelled "ce" in the rapper's story. Several users pointed out that the phrasing was something the School Yard Crips street gang used, which Porter is affiliated with. Here are some comments seen on Instagram user @theneighborhoodtalk's post:

Blueface's manager previously estimated that his client would be in prison for 10 months

In November 2022, law enforcement authorities arrested Blueface in connection with a shooting at a strip club in Las Vegas, Nevada, that took place the previous month. He faced charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and shooting a firearm.

A year after the shooting, Clark County Judge Kathleen Delaney sentenced him to three years probation with the mandate that if he violated the terms of probation, he would be locked up for two to five years.

However, after a video showing the rapper pulling a fan on stage and instructing his fiance to physically assault her went viral, the judge issued a bench warrant this year.

In July 2024, Judge Delaney granted the rapper a three-year probation and sentenced him to a 30-day prison stint, crediting him with time already served.

However, Blueface remained incarcerated for violating his probation mandate stemming from a 2021 incident where he assaulted a security guard outside a Los Angeles nightclub. In August, the case ended in the rapper being sentenced to four years in prison.

At the time, the Holy Moly hitmaker's manager, Wack 100, told TMZ that he managed to get his client's sentencing for the past few years suspended. However, after Blue was caught with drug paraphernalia (equipment related to drugs), the judge was forced to give him the maximum sentence.

Wako also estimated that Blue would be out in 10 months (already having served 440 days).

Last month, Blueface took to his Instagram to share pictures from prison, with the caption:

"Am I missing out or y’all missing me?"

In the photos, the rapper is seen smiling.

The rapper is currently being held at the North Kern State Prison in central California.
