As Blueface and Chrisean Rock continue to spend time behind bars, the rapper’s father, Johnathan Porter Sr., posted a video on Instagram to update the fans on their potential release. In a clip posted on the platform on Thursday, July 11, 2024, Blueface’s father said:
“Sitting over here hoping and praying that they release my son in the next 20 days for time served. So, for all Blueface fans, please keep him in your prayers.”
Captioning the image as “Free Blueface July 29th,” he also mentioned in the video how he wants Chrisean Rock to be released the same day as Blueface, as he stated that he wants everybody to “have a new start.”

However, he was arrested again on January 12, 2024, for allegedly breaching his probation terms and was sentenced to remain in jail until July 2, 2024.
