Asian Doll, the late rapper King Von's former partner, recently took to social media to reiterate that Lul Tim did not kill Von. Lul Tim was previously thought to have allegedly murdered Von in a shootout in Atlanta in 2020. Tim was acquitted of his murder charges in August 2023, with prosecutors believing he acted in self-defense.
According to Complex, authorities claimed that Von's death came after an altercation broke out between two gangs, led by him and his rivals Quando Rondo and Lul Tim, outside Monaco Hookah Lounge. The resulting shootout left three people dead, including King Von.
Lul Tim recently announced that "new details" surrounding the case and his charges will be explored in his upcoming documentary Book Of Timothy. Following this, Asian Doll took to X to accuse Tim of "trying to claim a body" he didn't kill, arguing that his bullets didn't match the ones found in Von's body.
On October 27, she also tweeted:
"Since when you can shoot a n***a for fighting yo friend and claim it's self defence. Them charges was dropped cause his bullets didn't kill Von!! LETS TALK THE REAL!! IM SICK OF THESE N***AS LYING."
King Von was 26 when he died
King Von, whose real name was Dayvon Daquan Bennett, was only 26 when he was fatally shot in Atlanta, Georgia, in November 2020. The Chicago-based drill rapper's death came a week after the release of his debut album. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds during the altercation, resulting in his death.
Lul Tim was arrested for Von's murder. However, his charges were dropped under Georgia's "stand-your-ground" law in August 2023.
Asian Doll reiterated her claim that Lul Tim was not involved in Von's death after Tim's charges were dropped. In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote:
"Because the police said Tim ain't kill him the police did."
In another post, she berated people for using King Von's name in interviews for clout.
"N***as doing all these interviews about King Von look goofy asl. Speaking on open cases & telling stories he never told is top of the line snitch s**t. He ain’t condone s**t he’ll cut a mf off for. Y’all n***as forever b***hes to me & never stood on business. I hate n***as who don’t stand on business allot lil boy. S**t dead we like grown men that get s**t done over here," she said.
The news of Lil Tum's documentary came days after rapper Lil Durk was arrested on "murder-for-hire" charges in connection with a shootout involving Quando Rondo.
Rondo was thought to be the target of a 2022 shooting incident in LA due to his alleged involvement in King Von's death. While Rondo survived the shooting, his cousin, who was in the car with him, died.
