"Welp we just witnessed retirement" — Internet reacts to OsamaSon clearing his Instagram account after multiple songs leak online

American rapper and songwriter OsamaSon recently wiped off his Instagram account after several songs from his third album, JumpOut, reportedly leaked on Christmas Eve, December 24.

After OsamaSon's third album, Still Slime, came out earlier this year, fans eagerly awaited his third album, JumpOut. As Genius reported, it was expected to be released in January 2025. So, the alleged leak on Christmas Eve shocked fans.

The rapper's Instagram account on December 25, 2024

Although the rapper has not addressed the alleged leak, he has removed all the posts from his Instagram feed, according to HotNewHipHop. As of December 25, 2024, his Instagram account had 379k followers.

The rapper clearing his feed didn't go unnoticed by netizens, with one person saying:

"Welp we just witnessed retirement."

One person said he should have dropped the album already.

"He shoulda just dropped when leak started early this year," another person said.

"Why don’t artist keep their shi in gmail man n***as is not hacking ts n if they do u can sue stop using the cloud," wrote another netizen.

Others suggested alternative ways to store the unreleased songs to prevent them from getting hacked.

"His fault? he should’ve been sat there and dropped that album," a user wrote.

"Someone tell bro what a flash drive is," read a tweet.

"Damn I actually feel bad now," mentioned a netizen.

According to Genius, the songs that were apparently a part of the upcoming album were She Need A Ride, Break Da News, The Whole World is Free, Clean Up Squad, New Tune, Baller, and Bully, to name a few.

OsamaSon had faced album leaks previously as well

This wasn't the first time that the rapper went through a massive album leak. As reported by HotNewHipHop on December 25, several internal leaks had happened in the past year. Genius has also compiled two different compilations titled Leaks Tape.

As rumors suggested, a hacker released the Leaks Tape. On the other hand, Discord claimed that the rapper's team could be held responsible for releasing the tracks.

OsamaSon, aka Amari Deshawn Middleton, was born in May 2003 and has become a popular name in the underground rap scene. His debut album, Osama Season, was released in July last year. The second, Flex Musix, was launched in December 2023. From 2023 to 2024, he released three EPs: 2 Slime, Ohsama, and Still Slime.

OsamaSon has also conducted and participated in several tours and concerts. Regarding the latest leaks, it is speculated that there could be a link between the apparent leaks and the rapper wiping off his feed. The rapper has not addressed the issue.

Fans are now hoping that the latest leaks from JumpOut don't further delay its release.
