Rapper 21 Savage was featured in Drake's latest song, It's Up, which was released on Tuesday, August 7, 2024. After listening to the track, the British-American rapper's fans believed that his verse in the song was a diss to Kendrick Lamar, who has been beefing with Drake.

Drake released "100 gigabytes" worth of material for his fans to peruse on Tuesday, including It's Up featuring 21 and Young Thug. The 31-year-old rapper's verse in the track reads:

"Made a couple songs think he hot now / Hit his *ss up think he Pac now."

A fan shared a snippet of 21's verse on X, seemingly teasing that he could be talking about the Not Like Us artist.

While 21 Savage and Drake have been old-time collaborators, fans had mixed reactions about the new song as the Canadian rapper is currently reportedly beefing with K-dot. With some fans wondering if 21 is taking a side, others believe it might be a "play on" Tupac's album Hit Em Up.

Fans took to X to express their thoughts and moments, with many saying that the song might be a "play on words."

"I heard the line & thought so but then I thought about it again. PAC's song title of the record is Hit Em Up. It could honestly just be a play on words," a fan said.
"People really forgot PAC made a song called Hit Em Up. He's just referencing it man," another fan mentioned.
Hard reach, I heard the snippet of this joint waaaaay before the beef ignited, plus 21 made it clear he's not getting involved in it," another X user noted.

Other fans also pointed out that 21 Savage's verse is likely prerecorded and was made even before the rap beef happened.

"It's not a shot a Kendrick. Drake talks about Thug being in Cobb county jail. That's in 2022," a fan wrote on X.
"There's nothing relating to Kendrick in this bar but okay," another X user wrote.
"21 didn't hit Kendrick up, so nah. If he is; he's implying Drake got killed by Kendrick so I doubt it," another fan on X pointed out.

21's song with Drake came after the Toronto rapper released several diss tracks aimed at the Euphoria artist, including Family Matters and The Heart Part 6.

Drake previously made a surprise appearance at 21 Savage's American Dream concert

21 Savage hasn't spoken much about the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. However, he invited Drizzy during his May 2024 concert to perform Knife Talk and Rich Flex. He also offered some kind words to his frequent collaborator, Drake, during their performance.

"That's a good n***a right there, a genuine n***a. We need more n***as like him in the culture."

The Ocean Drive rapper is currently on the international leg of his American Dream album tour, which kicked off in Milan, Italy, on June 29, 2024. The next day, he had a concert in Dublin. 21 has toured all over Europe, from Denmark and Poland to Italy and Portugal in July.

21 Savage is taking about two weeks off from his tour before picking up the concert dates in mid-August with a performance in Charleville Mezieres, France. He will also tour England in late August before bringing his concert to Brazil and several cities in Australia in September.
