Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy penned a tribute for the deceased singer featuring angel numbers '444' on her Instagram on Wednesday, October 23. The singer passed away after falling from the third floor balcony of the CasaSur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16.

Cassidy shared a number of photos with Payne on Instagram, including an image of a note the singer had written to her, including the 444 angel number. In her tribute, Cassidy also mentioned that she and Liam Payne were about to get married and discussed their future before his untimely death. She wrote:

"A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together. I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it."

She continued:

"It said "Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444." Liam I know we'll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You'll always be with me. I've gained a guardian angel."
