Social media personality Charleston White has garnered immense backlash online after commenting on rapper Enchanting’s death. Many were displeased to see the YouTuber seemingly speak disrespectfully towards the musician, whose passing was confirmed by Gucci Mane on Tuesday, June 11.
Charleston White took to his ‘thecharlestonwhite47’ Instagram account yesterday to comment on Enchanting’s tragic passing. While reposting media publication Hollywood Unlocked’s image of Larry, White opined that she was not successful. He also said:
“She was a F**K TOY with talent who hardly put out music but posted a lot of social media pics.”
Charleston White then commented on Enchanting passing away after overdosing. He said:
“If someone die doing what they like to do (getting high) then why should anyone be sad for that person? She died a dopefiend just like the rest of them in the music industry! I told y’all they was just f**king on her and wasn’t putting no music out!”
Internet users were flabbergasted to see Charleston White being disrespectful towards the deceased. Some comments under the Instagram post read:

Enchanting’s team revealed on June 10 that she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit a day prior to her death. Her alleged boyfriend, Lilcj Kasino, revealed on Instagram that she was taken off of life support. Responding to White’s caption, other netizens said:
“Not kool at all,” wbkutz noted.
“You could have had a better approach, people are grieving right now,” memyselfand_i_ opined.
“U wrong homie u funny but this ain’t funny,” zellreela stated on the internet.
Neither Enchanting’s family nor team had publicly commented on White’s comment at the time of writing this article. Meanwhile, other comments read:
“I rock with you folk but for this situation, ESPECIALLY at this particular time, you dead wrong homie. She still had a family and people who loved her. Just send your prayers and condolences to the family. You do not do this the day of my g,” 4ever_yung21 stated.
“Dude they gone pop you,” jeremycrescendo stated.
For the uninitiated, Enchanting was signed to Gucci Mane's record label The New 1017 Records.
Charleston White seemingly addresses backlash in Instagram post
After amassing heaps of hate on social media, with many asking him to imagine his daughter in Enchanting’s situation, White took to Instagram yet again to claim that his daughter would never be in the musician's position as she is being raised by a “present father.” White said:
“My smart beautiful daughter is not a fatherless dopefiend rapper! She was raised by her loving present father, unlike most of these b*tc*es rapping, trying to make it out of the ghetto.”
White went on to say that he was actively involved in his daughter’s upbringing.
Enchanting passed away at the age of 26. The official cause of death was not made public at the time of writing this article.
Meanwhile, Charleston White is best known in the industry for his commentary on pop culture. His controversial opinions often garner him immense traction online. Most recently, he raised eyebrows after posing with rapper King Von’s alleged killer, Lul Timm. White also took to Instagram to call Timm “The Demon Slayer,” which left many weary.
