Dame Dash recently claimed that "Black media," including Drink Champs and Charlamagne tha God, has been protecting Jay-Z amid se*ual allegations against him.
In a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, Dash spoke about the s*xual assault allegations against Jay-Z and his dynamics with the media. According to Dash, Drink Champs couldn't get Jay-Z out of the latest suit. He claimed that the rapper would need assistance from "white media" to get out of the situation.
The 53-year-old record executive said:
"But like, you know, Drink Champs can’t get him [JAY-Z] out of this one and neither can Charlamagne because, you know, those are the guys that hold him down no matter what he does anyway. So he got to get to People Magazine and Entertainment Tonight right now because they on his head."
Meanwhile, Drink Champs co-host N.O.R.E. clapped back at Dame Dash for his remarks against the podcast. On Sunday, December 23, N.O.R.E posted a clip on his Instagram story, in which he called out Dame Dash.
"I have been receiving it you have been coming at me. You think I don’t got time. I’m not like these other people. I got time. So you know what I’m gonna do? Tomorrow, I’m gonna wind up in Paris," N.O.R.E. said.
Elsewhere in the clip, N.O.R.E. stated that everyone wanted to show love towards the record executive who apparently came after them later. The rapper then suggested Dame Dash that if he got a beef with one individual, he shouldn't start beefing with everyone around the one person.
N.O.R.E. ended up calling him "Lame Yash" in the clip, and then said:
"We don’t want to disrespect you and I’m trying not to as much as I can because I actually respect the sh#t out of you, but you became the lame chatty patty person that you said you were against. Get your life together my number is the same if you wanna work it out."
Dame Dash told The Art of Dialogue that it was time that Jay-Z opened up about his side of the story
In the interview with The Art of Dialogue, where Dame Dash seemingly took a dig at platforms like Drink Champs, he also gave some suggestions addressing Jay-Z. According to the record executive, he didn't support Alex Spiro, Jay-Z's lawyer much. He believed that the rapper should put forward his version of the story.
Dame Dash further believed that Spiro's statement claiming that Jay-Z and Diddy weren't friends, could backfire. Dash even cited his own example who had previously gotten sued but didn't face as much scrutiny as Jay-Z had been facing.
Dash further claimed that this was the first time that Jay-Z wasn't "getting a pass with white media."
Meanwhile, as people share their opinions on the suit filed against Jay-Z, the rapper has ended up criticizing the victim's lawyer Tony Buzbee for apparently trying to blackmail him using the suit. Despite the allegations, Jay-Z had denied any involvement as claimed in the suit.
