Following Diddy's arrest on September 16, 2024, lawyers from the AVA Law Group and Buzbee Law Firm put together the Diddy s*xual abuse hotline number. It allows people to report if they have been abused by the rapper.

On October 1, 2024, lawyer Tony Buzbee and his co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale organized a press conference informing the public about the issues that came to light through the hotline. Talking about the number of people who allegedly reported abuse, Andrew Van Arsdale mentioned:

“Never ever in a 10 day period have we seen over 3,000 people come forward."

The co-counsel also mentioned that he and Tony Buzbee prepared 120 lawsuits on behalf of the victims who alleged that they were s*xual assaulted by the Last Night rapper.

Moreover, Andrew Van Arsdale encouraged other victims to report abuse themselves. He also addressed people who know someone who was assaulted to do the same by contacting the hotline at 1-800-200-7474.

"This is an important matter that we intend to aggressively pursue"- Tony Buzbee comments on calls received on Diddy's s*xual abuse hotline number

Diddy was arrested from a hotel in New York City in September 2024, post which the rapper was indicted by a grand jury on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The rapper has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

According to The Mirror's October 1 report, the rapper's attorney Erica Wolf mentioned in a statement that the rapper "emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors". Wolf also shared that the rapper is looking forward to vindicating himself and proving his innocence in court when the claims are served.

During the press conference held by Tony Buzbee and Andrew Van Arsdale, the former mentioned in his statement:

"This is an important matter that we intend to aggressively pursue. We will leave no stone unturned to find all potentially liable parties, to include any individual or entity who participated in or benefited from this egregious behavior."

Tony also added that the biggest secret of the entertainment industry has been revealed to the world, and that "the wall of silence has now been broken, and victims are coming forward." During the press conference Tony and Andrew shared that among the various claimants, 25 were minors, wherein two were 14 and 15 years of age when allegedly abused by the rapper.

They also shared that Diddy's range of victims as per complaints on the hotline comprised both men and women aged between 9 and 38. The alleged instances reportedly took place over two decades from the 2000s to the 2010s.

In the press conference, Tony Buzbee mentioned that they would expose the enablers who supported Diddy. They added that they would pursue the matter regardless of who is implicated by the evidence. Tony also mentioned that they had a long list of people who had been accused apart from Diddy.
