Liam Payne's toxicology reports are out, providing more context to the singer's death. The former One Direction member passed away at 31 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16. He reportedly fell from the third-floor balcony of Casa Sur Palermo Hotel, where he was staying.

Per the partial autopsy, cited by ABC News, Liam Payne had crack, cocaine, and benzodiazepine in his system at the time of his death. His toxicology test also found that he had "pink cocaine" in his body when he fell to his death.

Benzodiazepine is a type of depressant medication that can relieve anxiety and muscle spasms but also cause sedation and hypnosis, according to DEA. Meanwhile, "pink cocaine" is a recreational drug, that is a powdered mixture of other drugs like 2-CB, MDMA, and ketamine, among others, as per Poison Control. It has a distinct pink hue from additional coloring and sometimes flavoring and is either snorted as a powder or ingested in pill form.

Besides the drugs in his system, authorities have reportedly found an improvised aluminum pipe that was allegedly used to ingest drugs in the former 1D member's hotel room. There was also a bottle of whiskey, traces of white powder, and remains of a burned candle found.

Police initially believed Liam Payne was high on the "potent" drug Cristal when he fell to his death

Days before his toxicology reports came out, local police believed that Liam Payne was under the influence of a substance called "Cristal" when he plunged to his death.

News outlets Marca and New York Post reported on Friday that Buenos Aires cops claimed that the singer could have been high on the potent hallucinogenic substance at the time of his passing. Officers explained that Cristal, aka crystal metal or methamphetamine, is a powerful and damaging drug.

When used, cops said it "causes users to experience extreme highs and extreme lows." It could also make people "aggressive" and "erratic." Page Six also reported on October 18 that multiple eyewitnesses saw the British singer exhibiting "disturbing" behavior at the hotel lobby, including smashing his laptop, shortly before his fatal fall.

A full transcript of the 911 call made by Casa Sur's chief receptionist also detailed Payne's drug use and erratic behavior before his death. The caller mentioned that a guest had taken "too many drugs and alcohol" and was "trashing the entire room." It was reportedly the first call made, per BBC, before a second one was made, with the caller warning the operator to send someone "urgently" because the hotel guest's life "may be in danger." The caller also told the operator that the guest's hotel room had a balcony.

Authorities reportedly arrived at the hotel around seven minutes later, and they found Liam Payne's body in the hotel's inner courtyard. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and a preliminary autopsy report detailed his fatal injuries from the fall. The former boy band member reportedly sustained 25 injuries that caused internal and external bleeding.

Liam Payne's body will reportedly stay in Argentina until a full autopsy is complete. He leaves behind his seven-year-old son Bear, whom he shared with ex Cheryl Cole.
