Gunna has made his way into the headlines as he has announced the launch of Black Music Action Coalition, AKA BMAC on August 20, 2024. The BMAC 30349 Guaranteed Income Program, is a $500,000 program to provide 30 families with a monthly stipend of $1,000 in the 30349 zip code, South Fulton, GA.
The rapper also released a statement via a press release about the program and stated:
“When I launched Gunna’s Great Giveaway, my goal was to uplift my hometown by providing resources that could make a tangible difference in at least one household. Partnering with BMAC to introduce the Guaranteed Income program in South Fulton is a significant step toward enhancing these communities and transforming the economic landscape of the city.”
As per the Never Recover rapper, the efforts are in collaboration with the Black Music Action Coalition to combat poverty and eradicate crime from society. The rapper stated that the program officially begins on September 18, 2024, however, the applications for the program are open now.
