Two of rapper 6ix9ine's custom luxury cards have reportedly been sold at a government auction hosted by the Internal Revenue Service on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. The vehicles were seized from the rapper during an IRS raid in April this year.
As per TMZ, the two luxury cars sold were a 2019 Lamborghini Urus for a price of $175,043, and a 2017 Bentley Continental GT Speed for around $85,500. As per Complex, both the vehicles were confiscated from 6ix9ine by federal agents when they raided his property in Lake Worth, Florida in April 2024. The rapper was reportedly not at home during the raid.
He was reportedly forced to hand over many of his assets to cover the $9.8 million lawsuit filed against him in 2021 by Alexis Salaberrios, a dancer who works in Gold Rush Cabaret in Miami. Complex notes that Salaberrios accused 6ix9ine of throwing a champagne bottle at her.
The rapper was accused of throwing a "deadly object with intent to commit serious bodily injury." The dancer claimed that she had to rush to the ER after the alleged incident and get her head wounds stapled.
6ix9ine had to pay a reported fee of $9,825,000 to dancer Alexis Salaberrios
As per court documents received by XXL in December 2023, the government was ordered to seize all of 6ix9ine's assets as compensation to satisfy an injury judgment.
The documents noted that an agreement was signed in November 2023 that demanded the rapper to pay dancer Alexis Salaberrios a reported fee of $9,825,000 as compensation for the alleged injuries caused by his actions.
Alexis Salaberrios filed the lawsuit against 6ix9ine in February 2021, claiming that the rapper threw a champagne bottle at her at the Gold Rush Cabaret in Miami, where she worked as a dancer. The bottle allegedly caused a critical head injury for the dancer, who had to go to the ER to get her head wounds stapled.
As per the lawsuit, 6ix9ine allegedly originally intended to throw the champagne bottle at a group of bar patrons who called him a rat. However, the bottle hit Salaberrios instead. The rapper's attorney, Frank Quintero Jr, filed two judgments to stop the motion and hold the receiver's appointment, but both were dismissed.
Another one of 6ix9ine's attorneys, Lance Lazzaro, spoke to TMZ about the incident, claiming his client is innocent. He said:
“There are video cameras in the establishment. It’s an attempt to shake him down. If he is served properly, we will immediately move to have it dismissed.”
When the rapper's assets were seized by the federal agents with assistance from the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office, Lazarro told TMZ:
"We are assessing the situation and will issue a statement at the appropriate time."
The auction of the rapper's cars began earlier this month on July 8 with both vehicles having an initial starting bid of $20,000, per XXL. 30 people bid for the Lamborghini, and the 2019 model was finally sold for a price of $175,043.
His 2017 Bentley was sold for $85,500 after 16 people bid for it, according to details on the GSA website.
The GSA website noted that both of the New York-based rapper's cars had a "paint splatter" custom job. XXL reports that the cars were actually covered by custom wrap design by an automobile company based in Florida, TPT Foreigns.
According to All Hip Hop, the Bentley needed some repairs, including broken side windows and a shattered front windshield. The new owners will deal with the same. The Lamborghini was reportedly in good condition.
