American media personality Wendy Williams' health problems have been one of the major talking points in the industry over the last few years. The same was also the focus of the Lifetime show, Where is Wendy Williams? which aimed to give viewers an unfiltered glimpse into her life.

A February 2023 statement by her medical team revealed that Wendy Williams had Aphasia and Frontotemporal Dementia. Williams was also diagnosed with Graves Disease in 2018 which is a condition that results in the overproduction of hormones from the thyroid glands. Additionally, the American media mogul has opened up about her prolonged drug and alcohol abuse in the past.

“Over the past few years, questions have been raised at times about Wendy’s ability to process information and many have speculated about Wendy’s condition, particularly when she began to lose words, act erratically at times, and have difficulty understanding financial transactions,” stated the statement by Williams' medical team.

The medical statement further stated that Wendy Williams is able to do many things by herself and her 'trademark sense of humor' is intact even through the dementia.

In a recent Instagram story, rapper Stunna Girl accused Ray J of Wendy William's failing health. She alleged that Ray J was responsible for taking Williams on a 'drug binge.'

"She ain't been the same since u took her on that drug binge gang," wrote Stunna Girl on her Instagram Story.

Wendy Williams' frontotemporal dementia and aphasia have resulted in her needing medical attention at all times. In her documentary, it was also mentioned that her incessant drug and alcohol use aggravated her problem.

“[Doctors] basically said that because she was drinking so much, it was starting to affect her headspace and her brain,” Kevin Hunter Jr. says. “So, I think they said it was alcohol-induced dementia,” explains the narrator in the last episode of her documentary.

According to a report from People, the media mogul is currently in a medical facility and receiving cognitive professional care at all times. In an interview with People (published on February 22, 2024), her niece Alex Finnie explained her aunt's condition:

“She sounds really great. To hear my aunt now in terms of just how clear she is, just how focused she is on the importance of family and the reality in terms of facing and understanding where she’s at physically and mentally and emotionally, it is like a 180," opined Finnie.

In fact, Wendy Williams herself spoke directly to the fans on February 23, 2024, and thanked them for their support.

"“Let me say, wow! Your response has been overwhelming. The messages shared with me have touched me, reminding me of the power of unity and the need for compassion," commented Williams.

The 57-year-old ended her statement by requesting fans to give her personal space and peace but also expressing her ultimate gratitude for their support and encouragement.

Stunna Girl accused Ray J of pushing Wendy Williams towards drug abuse and ruining her physical health after reports claimed that the business relationship between Stunna Girl and Ray J suffered a fallout.

In an Instagram Story posted on June 25, the 26-year-old implored Ray J to stop 'worrying' about her and focus on what he did to Wendy Williams. The Runway singer further alleged that Williams had changed after Ray J introduced her to a 'drug binge gang.'

“Instead of constantly being worried about me , Ray J needs to focus on what he did to Wendy Williams. She ain’t been the same since u took her on that drug binge gang," wrote Stunna Girl in her Instagram Story.

Notably, Stunna Girl provided no evidence to support her claims and there is no proof of Ray J ever introducing Wendy Williams to an alleged 'drug binge gang.'

Ray J and Wendy Williams have had a friendly relationship over the years. They were so close that many tabloids suspected that there was something more than platonic between the two in the middle. However, the two have managed to sustain their friendly terms. The same thing can't be said about Ray J and Stunna Girl.

Stunna Girl starred on the reality show Baddies South which was produced by Ray J. According to a report by Jasmine Brand, the two had had a recent fallout because of some content issues. Stunna and her husband wanted to create independent content and separated themselves from the show. However, it was reported that Ray J allegedly said something hurtful to them and that has resulted in an aggressive outburst by the rapper.

In another Instagram Story, Stunna even lashed out at Ray J and called him a 50-year-old suffering from a mid-life crisis.

"Stop speaking on me!!! Ur nun but a Hollywood kid who’s having a mid-life crisis at 50 fakin a gangster image once u couldn’t pay us for clout & my husband for protection anymore u started trynna be him. U even tattooed ur face like his lmaoo bye," wrote Stunna Girl on Instagram.

As of this writing, Ray J hasn't responded to the accusations made by Stunna Girl.
