Lil Yachty's net worth came into question after the rapper boasted about his affluence in a new song with fellow rapper Ian titled Hate Me. Released on July 26, 2024, the song features Yachty rapping:

“Know I’m richer than your favorite rapper. If I’m not, then god, kill my momma.”

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Lil Yachty is reported to have an estimated net worth of $8 million. The lyrics from Hate Me have sparked confusion among fans, many of whom are questioning why the rapper felt the need to include such lines.

"Why even write anything if these the bars that make the song. Just hum on the beat smh," one netizen stated.
"God Please forgive Lil Yachty he didn't know what he was saying on this track cuz there's no way bro richer than my favorite rapper Lil Wayne," one person tweeted.
"lol doesnt bro have an 8 million net worth? same amount ice spice has LMAOOOOOOOOO," someone tweeted.

Others speculated whether the line was a metaphor for spiritual riches and wondered if he was trying to manifest something.

"perhaps he meant spiritual riches," another person added.
"bros tryna manifest," one person commented.
"Bro just wanted to get rid of his mama," one X user reacted.
"unless Yatchy is secretly a SUPER rich drug lord behind the scenes, idk think his momma gonna survive this," someone speculated.

Lil Yachty cryptically commented on his estimated net worth

While Lil Yachty's estimated net worth was projected to be $8 million in 2024, he took to social media to claim that he made that money in the first eight months of his rapping career in 2016.

However, the rapper did not elaborate on his net worth any further. He followed up with another tweet claiming that real life was very different from what it seemed on social media.

"yall be letting this internet guide yall. in real life s*** is different i’m tellin u."

After Hate Me, the rapper's next collaborative project is rumored to be with Drake. Twitch streamer Kai Cenat previewed an untitled song from the two rappers on July 23. While no additional information about the song is available at the time of this article, it is speculated to be called Supersoak.

Lil Yachty and Drake are frequent collaborators, having released tracks like Another Late Night. Yachty has also been credited as a writer on many of Drizzy's songs.

In his diss track Euphoria, Kendrick Lamar name-dropped Yachty amid his feud with Drake, where he rapped, "Yachty can't give you no swag neither, I don't give a f*** 'bout who you hang with."

Yachty recently released an album with James Blunt titled Bad Cameo. The 10-track album, released on June 28, 2024, was first teased on February 13 by the rapper on Instagram.

"I think James has worked with a quite substantial amount of hip hop artists. But this project is so left for both of us. Then, aside from the one picture that James posted, which he doesn't have many followers actually, I don't think people know that we know each other exist. So they're just going to be like 'What the f***? When did they do this?'" Yachty said.

At 26 years old, Lil Yachty has released five studio albums, with his debut album, Teenage Emotions, released in 2017.
