Sean “Diddy” Combs was taken into federal custody on September 16 from the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City on the charges of racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution, as per an unsealed grand jury indictment.

A day after, he was taken to the Manhattan Federal Court where he was denied bail despite pleading “not guilty.” Prosecutors also argued that he was a “serious flight risk.”
He was also denied bail for the second time on Thursday and will remain in federal custody until trial.

In the wake of Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles, his son Christian “King” Combs’ former publicist Linda Luna took to Facebook and issued a statement in the Bad Boy Records owner’s defense.
“I’ve been around Diddy many times. I’ve been to his parties and after-parties and I’ve never seen what they are claiming. But, I do feel like maybe he was trying to change over the past year, but it seems like it was too late, and his past transgressions have come to light and now he has to face the consequences,” she wrote.
The publicist further wrote that there were “worse” men in power in the industry compared to Diddy and hoped for the rapper’s redemption, adding:
“No one is limited to God’s grace and mercy.”

Publicist Linda Luna who has previously worked with Sean Combs’ sons Christian and Justin took to her personal social media on September 18 and shared her views on Diddy’s current legal issues, calling it “truly so unfortunate.”
Subsequently, the Hollywood publicist mentioned how she had been around Sean Combs many times, including attending many of his parties and after-parties, but she never saw “what they are claiming.”
She also opined that Diddy was seemingly “trying to change over the past year” but it was too late and his “past transgressions” caught up to him.
“But, let’s remember, no one is limited to God’s grace and mercy. So, hopefully, he will find redemption within that and if it’s God’s will, he’ll get another chance to make it right and redeem himself with those that have been affected by him,” Luna wrote.

“But, even if not, hopefully, his consequences will serve as a proactive example and change in this industry. Especially, towards women because there are a lot of other powerful men in this industry that I have witnessed do worse, if not the same as the allegations in this case.”
Linda Luna wrapped up by seeking the almighty’s blessings for Sean Combs, his victims, and his family, citing “they deserve justice for whatever is [true] in all this. She also pleaded “mercy” on everyone “casting stones or judgmental opinion.”
However, now, in the face of severe backlash, the Powerhouse Agency founder has issued a clarification.
“This was a private conversation with family on my personal Facebook. Unfortunately, my comment was shared to the public. It was never intended to be an official or professional statement,” she shared.
Notably, Christian “King” Combs appeared on Tuesday at Manhattan Federal Court ahead of his father’s arraignment and requested to read the 14-page indictment against Diddy, accompanied by seven men, who also made similar requests. King later sat in an orange chair in the arraignment room and read the entire court document.
For those unaware, Diddy’s eldest son was named in one of his lawsuits earlier this year, where he was accused of s*xual assault by the plaintiff Grace O’ Marcaigh, alongside his father.
Back then, Christian’s lawyer Aaron Dyer called the allegations “manufactured lies and irrelevant facts.” Meanwhile, King has not been named in the recent federal indictment.
