What did Lucki say about Destroy Lonely? Rappers take shots at each other online fueling their beef

Destroy Lonely and Lucki have reignited their feud after the two rappers took shots at each other on social media on August 22, 2024. The war of words began after Lonely previewed a snippet of a new song from his upcoming album Love Last Forever, scheduled for release on August 30, 2024. In the snippet, Lonely can be heard rapping:

"Got my old b*tch so mad that I won’t f*ck her / I done surpassed my favorite rappers, guess I’m lucky."

Lucki was quick to respond to the alleged diss on an Instagram Live session. The rapper took shots at Lonely's personal life, bringing up his girlfriends and claiming:

"She just brought my name up. I didn't even f*ck her. I didn't even bother the girl. Your new girlfriend, too? Ask her about Lucki."

He also alluded to Lonely's record deal with Playboy Carti, saying it was better to be a multi-millionaire than be signed to one. Lucki continued his insults against Destroy Lonely, calling out the rapper for wanting to be a "street guy" after allegedly wearing dresses and painting his nails.

"I don't wanna be dissing each other over girls. I never gave a f**k about you, I really, I never even like it when fans put me in the same category as you type of kids cos I'm not the same. I'm talking proper and s**t. We not finna be doing dissing and s**t, like imma be honest, y'all be loafin' too much," Lucki added during the Instagram Live.

Destroy Lonely responded to Lucki's insults on X, writing in a now-deleted tweet that he was not scared of his rival.

Lucki and Destroy Lonely have been trading barbs for a while now. When Lucki released his 2024 album Gemini, many believed a couple of songs on the album were intended as diss tracks against Destroy Lonely.

One such track was OUTRO, in which fans claimed Lucki tried to diminish Lonely's rap career by insinuating he got into the industry because of his father, who is rapper I-20.

Destroy Lonely recently faced domestic abuse allegations

On June 24, 2024, Destroy Lonely's alleged former girlfriend, only known by her X handle @ayishamia, accused the rapper of physically and mentally assaulting her. In a series of now-deleted posts on X, she claimed the rapper verbally abused her during a 21-hour flight to Germany.

In a follow-up post, she alleged the 23-year-old rapper pushed her on the bed, causing her to injure her head. She also attached some photos as evidence, writing:

“Cracked my head open in Germany after pushing me into a bed frame and then threw all my s**t in the hallway ….. all because i was tired and didn’t want to get up at that exact second to roll a blunt."

According to iHeart, Lonely responded to the tweets and denied the allegations. However, he accused the woman of abusing him, claiming she hit him "1000 times." The rapper soon deleted the posts.
