On July 4, R.A.P. Ferreira's former partner Chloe Stingley has accused the American rapper of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse in a lengthy post on BetterWorld where she also launched a fundraiser.
Chloe Stingley explained her alleged situation because of the Indie rapper and asked for financial help so that she could hire a specialized Domestic Violence Attorney, travel to Nashville for an emergency hearing, and cover the expenses of herself and her children.
R.A.P. Ferreira or Rory Allen Philip Ferreira is best known for tracks like So the Flies Don’t Come and Purple Moonlight Pages and also for his collaborations with underground artists like Kenny Segal, Elucid, and Open like Eagle.
His most recent collaboration was with Japanese producer Fumitake Tamura and they released The First Fist to Make Contact When We Dap, in January 2024.
Chloe Stingley explained her situation and allegations against R.A.P. Ferreira in a long note on Betterworld
In the fundraiser, Chloe Stingley alleged how her ex-boyfriend "committed multiple acts of violence against me and all my children." She also added that she shares a daughter, Miel Stingley-Ferreira with the rapper, who has been allegedly subjected to physical and mental abuse along with her mother and other siblings.
She further accused R.A.P. Ferreira of physically assaulting their 7-year-old son at a record store, Soulfolks Records, and using a "deadly weapon" against him. That instigated her to get away from R.A.P. Ferreira and she fled in November 2023, along with her children, out of fear of "bodily harm and death."
According to her, R.A.P. Ferreira reportedly tried to take away their 16-month-old daughter by filing a legal complaint. The rapper allegedly stalked her secret location and sent her a warrant to take Miel away. She accused the rapper of false allegations and use of power to take advantage of the legal system to harass her and get revenge for her escape with her children to Nashville in 2023.
"Most recently, Rory stalked me to find my protected location in Charlotte and had me served with a warrant to remove our daughter from my care. She is currently 16 months old and still breastfed."
The note also stated that Chloe didn't have a problem with Miel having contact with her father, but R.A.P. Ferreira's methods of getting her back were causing catastrophic damage to the health, safety, and mental well-being of herself and her children.
"I also need to hire a lawyer ($5000) in North Carolina before JULY 23, 2024, because I have filed an order of protection against Rory due to his behavior that inflicts substantial emotional distress by way of stalking, neglect of our daughter, aggravated child abuse of my son, Auri Stingley, and Rory’s history of unlawfully imprisoning me, along with verbal, financial and sexual abuse."
The note finally ended with Chloe requesting people to donate $22,000 so that she could fund her and her children's stay in Nashville, hire a lawyer in two different states, and have funds for the lengthy commutes that are inevitable during these times.
She stated the funds would allow her to "protect my rights, have Miel returned to my care, and show cause for change of jurisdiction to North Carolina so Rory can travel here to see her."
"I am in awe and infinite gratitude for the response and love shown to my family during this time. Each of you are my angels here on Earth."
According to HipHopDX, Chloe Stingley possesses an affidavit with 42 pieces of material evidence against R.A.P. Ferreira that will be presented on July 23, 2024, so that she can get her protection order against the rapper. As of this writing, no response has come from the rapper's team.
